Why would Jaidi get on the bench? Aaron Martin has been a more than able deputy for Jose while he has been injured. Slots in well alongside Jos in my opinion.

When did all this left footed/right footed partnership stuff come from? Throughout football history and around the world now many of the best partnerships are 2 right footers. If they're decent centre backs it shouldn't make any difference.

 

I've read a few times that Fonte likes to play with a left footed partner........can't tell you where exactly now, but I'm fairly sure it came from the club at some

point.....I'm certain someone will back me up with evidence or correct me if I'm wrong :0)
