Nexstar Posted 6 January, 2012 Share Posted 6 January, 2012 A quick plug for my small eBay venture. I used to supply Breathe Right strips only (still do in another listing) but have discovered a new set of strips which are far cheaper and, I am told, far more effective. Their main uses are for preventing snoring, by opening up the nasal passage, and therefore can come in handy for anybody who may struggle to breathe during exercise. Anyway, if you fancy taking a look the link is below. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130620202781&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT#ht_1178wt_976 Cheers, Simon

Nexstar Posted 6 January, 2012 Author Share Posted 6 January, 2012 Tried strips for my snoring, didnt help. I guess things don't work for everybody, but it can be down to the size of the strips and finding ones which stay attached to the nose throughout the night. hamster Posted 6 January, 2012 Share Posted 6 January, 2012 Nasal strips are no good for sportsmen. You don't breathe through your nose, you breathe through your mouth, when exercising hard. FACT.
Nexstar Posted 8 January, 2012 Author Share Posted 8 January, 2012 Nasal strips are no good for sportsmen. You don't breathe through your nose, you breathe through your mouth, when exercising hard. FACT. If you struggle to breathe entirely through your nose the strips can help to open the nasal passage and therefore the delay the need to use the mouth for oxygen gain. This means that the increased heat and water loss from mouth intake is also slowed.
