Villa?

The Trousers household are contemplating a villa holiday this year. Somewhere warm and sunny with a private pool. Last 2 weeks in August earmarked.

 

Does anyone know anyone who knows someone who has such a place to rent out or can recommend a property they've stayed at before?

 

Preference is for renting privately from the owner as the likes of James Villas no doubt add a whopping commission onto their prices.

 

Cheers for any leads or suggestions.

Thorughly recommended. Your budget will get you a great holiday (And a decent maid )

 

Look at Portugal or Spain, I will dig out a couple we have stayed in and Pm you.

 

Only one bad experience, when the pool was surrounded by wasps!!!

http://www.holiday-rentals.co.uk/p734521 we stayed here at easter a couple of years ago and had a great time. Its pretty quiet but has everything you need on the complex. You can also go and use the other Polaris world property facilities. The golf course is nice but will be very hot in Aug.

Personally, I've never used it before but know some people who have and they had no complaints. I'm thinking of giving it a go this year.

We always rent villas or farms, depending on where we go and wouldn't dream of doing owt else but we drive instead of flying.

 

Croatia and Montenegro offer excellent value IHMO.
