KK the 2nd Posted 6 January, 2012 Share Posted 6 January, 2012 Niemi hit the post once when he came up for a last minute corner, cant remember who it was against! I was there. I recall it was against Fulham at Loftus Road and it was a last minute equaliser to make it 2-2 with Niemi heading against the bar (post?) with the rebound bundled in by Killer. LostBoys Posted 7 January, 2012 Share Posted 7 January, 2012 I was nice & dry that day, a family friend took me down using his pal's ST and I was proper posh up in the West Stand having been a choco box regular! Jeez there's a lot of old farts on this forum Dont call me an old fart - I only got the discount for one season. I was a teenager at the time of the game! Eastcowzer Posted 7 January, 2012 Share Posted 7 January, 2012 Don't you all realise that this sort of thing never happened before the premier league Well certainly that's what Sky would have you believe anyway I've only seen this occur live once with Mark Crossley for Sheff Weds against us in last minute in a 3-3 draw at Hillsborough, although Anti Neimi went close hitting the bar against Fulham at Loftus Road, before Michael Svennson scored when we drew 2-2. Q. Why were Saints playing Fulham at Loftus Road instead of Craven Cottage. ?
Saint137 Posted 7 January, 2012 Share Posted 7 January, 2012 Because al fayed wanted to sell the Cottage for flats. Fulham played at Loftus road for two seasons I think.
