Could it just be a massive overreaction?

He started brilliantly, then has had a quiet spell but has never been woeful. Overall it's hard to say he's had anything but a great first half to the season.

Plus, unless I'm mistaken, he played brightly and scored a goal at Brighton? We've just set the lad very high standards, and no player will live up to them every week, just as Rickie has had quiet games too.

Basically in a nutshell ... his absolute brilliant earlier displays can't be set aa a minimum benchmark each week. Disappointing as it maybe, there will be below expectations performances in our eyes as we're not seeing open flowing football, but there will be times when he is doing a job for the team as tasked by NA and not able to express himself as we'd like. Sometimes, of course, like every player in the land he will have a stinker where nothing goes right. It happens.

Players of the ilk of Channon, Stevie Williams, 2 out of 3 Wallace Bros and even Matt Le Tiss plus many others who have come up through the club have been criticised in their formative years - now with H24 media / forums etc it is so different to a casual remark down the pub. Now, if I say Player X was crap on Saturday just a few people heard me - now one quick post and god knows how many thousands can agree with me.

AL is by far the most naturally gifted player we have .... form is temporary, class is permanent. And his committment to SFC in this day and age is something that should be appreciated.

He was better at Brighton I agree. Was he injured when he got subbed or Adkins preferred Reeves?
For some reason dont ask me why,but with Lambert off Guly injured NA said he was saving him. This when we are only 1-0 down at the time, strange if you ask me.

He was absolutely fantastic in the first few months of the season, this is true. His performance levels have dropped recently, this is also true. However, we all know what Adam is capable of.

What is important is for us to support Adam while he's not in form. We all want him back to his best, and the quickest way for him back to his peak is with all of us getting behind him!

He is probably our most supported player. If anything people have been too lenient with him (well maybe not but certainly in comparison to other players.)
