Clutching at straws already Our current "Form" is pretty close to Relegation form We have not been playing the "pass across the ground" game that wore down the opposition Something IS wrong in the camp (dressing room) Forget todays sending off. I said long ago that our away form would prevent us going up. Brighton had a job fielding a Team, yet we could not score against them Adkins is running true to form. As with his other Clubs, it is this time in the season he runs out of ideas People DO get fed up with hearing the same old Guff after every game The Chickens certainly are coming home to roost

Most neutrals would see that we are top of the league and not see the short term run of bad form. Not everything is rosy in the garden, but FFS we are not going to be relegated (unless we get docked points). I'm really hacked off this afternoon after the last 2 results, I'm not a happy clapper, and you are quite right that you are entitled to your opinion. On the contrary,i want success at SFC and i don't care who makes that happen,be it Adkins or someone else.......Just because i don't fawn over every utterance Adkins makes,or agree with everything he does does not mean i want him to fail......do you seriously think any Saints supporter wants that? You can think what you like of me(if you don't follow the train of thought of others on here you get called abusive names) i'm not overly bothered. I think you, like others, on here show their true colours by not being able stand any critisim of Adkins. The love in with him has/is been nauseating. But that dosen't mean i want failure to be brought to the club i love. Problems need to be addressed,i don't see him doing that in the 6 games or so.....hence questions should be asked......and i hope he is asking questions of himself, otherwise he will fail and hit the brick wall, like he has in the past. Frank's cousin Posted 2 January, 2012 Share Posted 2 January, 2012 Feck me we have some right prima donnas on here... What is the problem with some 'fans'? Everyone who has half a brain KNOWS Adkins is entering territory now that he has not faced before - he has proven he has what it takes in L1 with 3 promotions - he has proven he has what it takes to get a side not much different from that in L1 to begin the season strongly, be well prepared and achieve more that any of us though possible at the start of the season. HE is young and LEARNING FFS - and now is a test for sure, but to dismiss him or criticise as some of you are is frankly pathetic. West Ham couldn't buy a win, Boro just got thumped, reading just got turned over - Well feck me - have their managers all lost the dressoing room, are they all suddenly ****? I dont know if he is a manager who will succeed at ten highest level, and we dont know whetehr he is ready and experienced enough to get us out of the curent poor run either - but you know what? I can Guarantee he will be trying his feckin hardest, giving it his all and importantly doing it with passion yet with a smile on his face - and he DESERVES our SUPPORT, Jeez there are some posters on here (I wont call them fans) who are spanking their small planks at being able to have sly digs, or blatent ignorant attacks.... FFS grow up. NOo one is above criticism, and football is a game where every fan will have their own tactical opinion - mostly complete cock but nevertheless its what makes this game so facinating - and discussing the merits or otherwise of formations and players is one thing but to start speculating about the dressing room or other such ****** is plain feckin stupid. What the feck is wrong with some of you people? The club has been in the ****, has been saved and is now 3 years in to a 5 year plan and we no doubt ahead of schedule - so what if mistakes are made, mistakes WILL be made as NC and NA and the squad LEARN to deal with a difficult step up - yet some of you clowns act like it should be a foregone conclusion - jeez. I know feck all about football, but some of you arseholes make me look like Alex friggin Ferguson. Its easy to support when we are winning every game, but its during the tough times that the proper fans get behind the club, the team, and the manager, especially when they have shown us what they are capable of. Heaven forbid we do get promoted when losing becomes more common - what you going to be doing then? Grow some feckin gonads and stop acting like a bunch of pussies. Legod Third Coming Posted 2 January, 2012 Share Posted 2 January, 2012 Having a high win ratio hardly makes him more successful than Lawrie Mac, especially given that the big guy wasn't bankrolled by billionares. There is only one measure by which all managers can be judged across decades and that is the volume of games they win. Lawrie (of whom I am a huge fan) wasn't bankrolled by billionaires but in the First Division he was able to sign: Shilton, Watson, Mills, Ball... and lest we forget, the messiah!!! (I don't imagine Adkins will be bankrolled to sign Messi - today's equivalent!!!) I appreciate it's arbitary - Lawrie was successful over a long period and it's a bit like comparing Arkle with Kauto Star. But really, in all the years following, do you recall 20+ consecutive home wins... Adkins is Kauto Star and you're just from the Arkle era my friend....
