Colinjb Posted 2 January, 2012 Share Posted 2 January, 2012 This is our 'wobble.' How we react and pick ourselves up from this is Adkin's biggest test to date.

S-Clarke Posted 2 January, 2012 Share Posted 2 January, 2012 This is our 'wobble.' How we react and pick ourselves up from this is Adkin's biggest test to date. I hope it's our wobble, but in terms of our away form it just continuies the crapness of it. No idea what we can do to fix it..
ART Posted 2 January, 2012 Share Posted 2 January, 2012 We're hanging on at the top by the skin of our teeth. The alarm bells been ringing for over a month now. Just hope we don't duplicate how it went for Nigel at S****horpe who were right up near the top of the Championship at Xmas then crashed right down the league and got relegated. As it stands we don't possess a squad capable of fighting it in the Premiership.

stuartru Posted 2 January, 2012 Share Posted 2 January, 2012 Rescinding the red card doesn't seem enough. Fine it gets rid of the suspension, but it was pretty clear Saints were playing well and looking forward likely to win until that incident, and it costs us the game. I agree we were playing well until then

If he did throw an arm at someone then its a red contact or not. He has let the team down today. It will not get overturned.

We have had a fantastic start and if we slide down the league, we will do it gracefully. 17th is about right !
RobM Posted 2 January, 2012 Share Posted 2 January, 2012 I agree we were playing well until then Indeed, we sounded good. I made this comment in the match thread, but it seems as though we rely on RL so much we have no idea what to do when he isn't around. When he left, everyone seemed to be looking around wondering where others were. It was the same when he was injured before, we tried to play as if he was there and couldn't. We rely on RL far too much, it's not healthy.

ART Posted 2 January, 2012 Share Posted 2 January, 2012 This is our 'wobble.' How we react and pick ourselves up from this is Adkin's biggest test to date. Indeed this is Nigel's biggest test here at Saints. How he deals with it and how Nicola Cortese reacts to it all is how the rest of the season pans out. PSG were top of the French League, wobbled in 3 games and the club fired the manager and have brought in Carlo Ancelotti to show their ambition. Dalek2003 Posted 2 January, 2012 Share Posted 2 January, 2012 17th is not about right. You will be proven very wrong. Very wrong ie 6 or more places wide of the target, a little wrong 3 to 4 places wide. I hope if we are 15th 16th you are generous enough to admit that I was nearly right !
