Hmmm, could result in some interesting new tunes when we work out a song for him ! :)

.

I suspect the words might be more of a challenge as we'll probably just recycle one of the existing tunes, Tom Hark or Sllop John B. Seems to be the only ones we know aside from OWTS.

If true, a good buy and fits into our policy of a relative modest outlay on players that we hope to develop over the long term. I don't think we are in a hurry to go up this season but are prepared to stick to our long term policy of sustainability.

As I have said countless times, this season is about consolidation and the management will be more than happy if we finish comfortably in a mid to lower middle position like 17th.

If the last two lines of what you said is true.. Then do you agree with the management?

If that is the plan fine, but they should make it explicitly clear so that people do not come up with absurd statements about all these big signings we are going to make. To me the policy of the club was clear by the end of the summer when none of the predicted big name signings happened because they cost to much or wages were too high.

Like everyone, if we went up this year it would be fantastic, but I see that prospect as a bonus not the main aim, which is to build the club on a sustainable basis.

Promotion this year, may indeed be one year to early.

um...adkins has said time and time and time again that the club wanted to be top 10 by the start of january.....hardly saying they want to top the league is it...

..sounds like he's the Japanese Michael Owen !

there's really could be a lot of sense to this..

Firstly - those who saw the Japanese players in previous World Cups recall they run " Kamikaze style" for 95 mins..

plus .if we are to consider ourselves a Prem.side it would create a lot of interest in Japan ..pop.120 million ?.

Asian players have a different mindset, and though he doesn't get played so often - I'm always impressed by the workrate of Man.U's Korean - Park

second - I'm sure the fee will be a " little more reasonable " than some of the sums being bandied arounf for NpC and L1 players...

Really sounds like an interesting bid.. I hope that SFC help him to adjust culturally....Hiroshima must certainly be a bit different from So'ton.

Let's just fill the gaps with racist slurs and inaccurate stereotypes then. We have had a few of the usual suspects on here so far but nobody has cracked a joke about eating dogs (Korean) of whales yet. Turkish is trying his best to fill the Deppo void but be needs support. Come on knuckle draggers, at least give us a song.

well no-one has come out with reports of Schneiderlin eating frogs legs..or horse meat !..whatever turns your stomach, I suppose.

Anyone in So'ton eat SUSHI - do they ?

i hope this is not the only forward we sign in this window. think it could be a massive gamble if it is with him having to settle in, like it took guly a while.

Would much prefer billy sharp who has scored 10 goals in a poor side this season even tho we are not interested any more if you believe in solent sport.

This is a translation from an article today in the Japanese media Sponichi, which really does seem to suggest that we are in discussions with the player. It also suggests that his coach that has just moved to another top club in Japan, Urawa Reds, is also interested;

Hiroshima, the Japanese national Tadashige FW Lee (26) 30 England that the two moved to Southampton found. Transfer has been negotiating behind the scenes, the condition has reached a basic agreement in terms to 30 days. Based in Southampton in addition to Lee, Urawa had received an offer from the club and won several other major European leagues. Mr. Petrovic teacher taking the helm in front of Hiroshima Urawa coach next season with a passionate love calls are received, in anticipation of W Cup tournament in Brazil 14 years, wants to play a higher-level environment. Southampton has England in the first place in two parts, is likely to be promoted to the Premier League next season, the decision was decisive.
