I come on here for news RE: update on Lee and all I see is songs about him! So in a nutshell I guess there is no news?

His interview re. visas/work permits is on the 12th, so unlikely to be any news before then.

How very pleasant.

Apologies if you were offended. Tone cannot be conveyed over a forum. It wasn't meant aggressively, more the fact that you even contemplated singing that song at St Marys.

Well here's one thing I can't understand that I can't understand,

That he walks like korean but plays for Japan

He's our lee-San tandanari Lee-San

Yeah but it's by Nickelback so... Add it to the 'not a chance in hell' pile.

Inadvertantly, there is another song in there, The Bangles " Walk like a Korean.."

Lee Lee whoever you may be,

He's gonna eat your spaniel for his tea,

So give him the ball, and let him score a goal,

Or he'll devour the contents of your goldfish bowl!!

Well worth a rendition at some stage...

I don't think anyone has beaten my two efforts from earlier on in the thread. Especially the Kung Fu one, which is, if I do say so myself, brilliant.

Perhaps a bit highbrow for the masses, but an Italian operatic piece that I'm sure Cortese would appreciate:-

The chorus would work well as a chant.

Tadanari, Tadanari Lee,

Tadanari, Tadanari Lee,

He comes from the Land of the Rising Sun,

Mount Fuji, cherry trees,

And now the Purple Archer's playing

here at St Mary's

Tadanari, Tadanari Lee

Tadanari, Tadanari Lee

The Saints will win the Championship

With Tadanari Lee

Bonsai, Banzai, Sushi and Green Tea

Geishas, Sumos, Bento and Sake

Sayonare to Japan

Say hello to St Mary's

The Saints will win the Championship

with Tadanari Lee

Ah so.

We add Japanese Footballer, and go find incollect sterotypes

So this is a taste of what we have to look forward to (I'm sure that's our man's volley against Aus in the middle)

Nooo you all cry that's Chinese...

Don't worry

The link is tenous but the sequel was made in...

Japan

And this post was apparently almost as risible as the sequel

Wow so we now have a new competition to make up the worst imaginable & stereotypical song ever.

To the Rod Stewart Classic.

We have Shaolin, We have Shaolin

Playing up front.........

Home & away

oh sod it time to take the meds

I'd be surprised.

The club have been tracking this player for around 10 months. They wouldn't have got this far down the line without investigating and researching any potential work permit situation, they've offered him terms and the club the fee...all pending the work permit, which as i said and as I've been told is a formality.

From what I've been told it's just a formality, just a rubber stamp job.

Bet they dont rubber stamp it before the Forest game, wouldn't be the first time slow paperwork has held us up - Papa and Guly to name two recently.

Oh I agree but as I asked previously in the thread, when has it ever been a formality when we (Saints) have had dealings with the Home Office re: work permits?
