Japanese friend tells me he cost 500K

As he's only joining on a one-year contract, supposedly special conditions apply for visas

He will be having an interview with the home office at the end of January and hopefully joining soon after.

oh f^ck....

Lee is not a Japanese name though, as mentioned before he is not of Japanese decent. I doubt our motives are for commercial befits as he would need to be 100 % Japanese for them to really care. Plus they have a number of players who are Japanese dining well across the world, a couple in Germany and Honda in Russia (cue really funny car jokes).

He will be here way before that!

Next week IDE say

Yes, my fault, the beginning of January - he'll be having an interview with the Home Office then and signing soon after. But according to the press, its definitely for one year as special conditions exist for visas and for £500K.

Southampton brand will go japanese in a big way simular with park at man utd

Park is Korean and in his home country his fame is on a par with Mr Beckham.

Would be nice to add to the brand in the largest region in the world. Fernandes has done that at QPR - Malaysian TV now show all their games live.

Plenty of opportunity.

Another video for good measure -

He looks to be quick, good with his feet and has an eye for finishing. His goal on 13:00 was brilliant.

If nothing else, he'll add a bit of spice to our goal celebrations! The ones at 5:30 and 7:45 were particular highlights.

And he'll probably cost 25% of an English equivalent.

What's for sure is we need to find a Sanfrecce Hiroshima message board. That's how to really judge a players quality. If those on there reckon he's good then Nigel Adkins has done a great job, if they say he's not up to much then, well, we can all be considerably "underwhelmed", "disappointed" and we can question NA in the transfer market.

sounds like exactly the sort of 'left field' deal we've made a habit of recently. He looks (albeit from limited clips) like a tricky player with a range of finishes, if not 'lightning quick' his touch looks good and he looks reasonably strong so should fit into our 'style' of play.

Far rather take a £500k punt on him than overpay for a 'name' that we all know like Maynard, J-Rod, Lucas J....

Left footed as well (by the looks of things) so gives us a bit more balance up top!

Let's just fill the gaps with racist slurs and inaccurate stereotypes then. We have had a few of the usual suspects on here so far but nobody has cracked a joke about eating dogs (Korean) of whales yet. Turkish is trying his best to fill the Deppo void but be needs support. Come on knuckle draggers, at least give us a song.

Sarcastically bringing it up is going to do the world of good isn't it?
