kwsaint Posted 30 December, 2011 Posted 30 December, 2011 Anyone know. It's been lashing it down all day
Matthew Le God Posted 30 December, 2011 Posted 30 December, 2011 (edited) Not prolonged enough for a game to need a pitch inspection. St Mary's has only once had a game off for waterlogging and it was much heavy prolonged rainfall than this, so what we had today won't make a difference. It isn't raining at the moment and isn't forecast to for the rest of the evening. Edited 30 December, 2011 by Matthew Le God

James Posted 30 December, 2011 Posted 30 December, 2011 No announcement regarding one - and its hardly lashing it down now. It'll be on no problem
marc_saint Posted 30 December, 2011 Posted 30 December, 2011 I'm sure we've had a game off due to rain. Against palace on an evening game I'm sure as I was half way down from Swindon before hearing the news
Petersfield Saint Posted 30 December, 2011 Posted 30 December, 2011 (edited) Wasn't that for a frozen pitch? Edit: My bad, it was indeed waterlogged Edited 30 December, 2011 by Petersfield Saint Getting my facts straight

InvictaSaint Posted 30 December, 2011 Posted 30 December, 2011 Just driven down from north Kent, and whilst rain on M3 was horrible, an now in Highfield and it's barely drizzling. Game on, no problem IMO.
Pilchards Posted 30 December, 2011 Posted 30 December, 2011 Hey man up, they will be warering the pitch before kick off.

ericofarabia Posted 30 December, 2011 Posted 30 December, 2011 Why is Andy Dúrso the ref? In which case if there is the slightest chance one of the linos might slip over it will be game off.
qwertySFC Posted 30 December, 2011 Posted 30 December, 2011 There was a pitch inspection at 17.15 _ Durso confirmed that indeed it was pitch
Wade Garrett Posted 30 December, 2011 Posted 30 December, 2011 Anyone know. It's been lashing it down all day They're playing at St Marys, not the Veracity Ground.
SNSUN Posted 30 December, 2011 Posted 30 December, 2011 Driving down M3 was bloody tricky, stopped in Winchester services for a coffee, came out and it had stopped.
