OK fellas, we've had enough of the.. ITKs, the Yorkshire pub gossip, and the friends of the next door neighbours threads...¨

Now's the time to put up ...TWO names that we will sign (according to you) ..before Jan.31st.

(If we sign a "foreigner " you'll be brave to put a name up..) for me..it's Billy Sharp and Lukas Jut....

(and your two names are ...?)

Some foreign dude no-one has heard of, plus someone on loan from the Premiership. Hedging my bets over names primarily because I haven't the faintest idea really...

Double swoop for Maynard and Adomah, with Puncheon going the other way. When this is proved true, I want you all to buy me a Mars Bar.

Solent are reporting we are not interested in maynard or Sharp so for me it will be Jute from Coventry, a wide man plus a Danish goalkeeper

As long as we aren't signing the Jute to actually play, and he is a back up, then I'll accept it. But if he is being brought in to start then I will be very disappointed.

... except I would guess Simeon Jackson on loan until the end of the season, rather than Jutkiewicz. If significant funds are invested then it will probably be on an attacking midfielder / winger.

marvin sordell would be a good signing although he probably lacks experience to fire us to premiership but would be one for the future so probably wont happen in january. gone quiet on the jay rod front so maybe a deal will be done there especially now that we are top.

I've not seen a lot of him, but the lad from Coventry really shone out when we went up there a couple of months ago, he looked way too good for Coventry. IMHO

Dutch keeper and a striker called Lucas Jaysordell.

plus a sneeky feeling a young black 21 year old winger that has a good left & right peg that moves faster than the sound of speed (but has the odd bad touch that makes trapping a potato sack hard work)

happy with that...bound to be a star...much like the 4th choice CB that is hooiveld...how was such a let down on the day he signed

It's all very well talking about new strikers but my first hope is that the alleged Pardew interest doesn't unsettle Rickie, as his form headed south after he was linked with other ("bigger") clubs last time - perhaps coincidentally, perhaps not. After all, he's got to look at Newcastle's lack of depth at striker and fancy his chances of cracking the line up of a top eight Premiership team in a football hotbed.

Sure, we can insist he stays but if his head is turned by the interest that would be really bad news and it could completely change our approach when the window opens.

So you're saying your Mars Bar is safe?

I concur. Top quality striker but will require a big pay cheque.
