BadgerBadger Posted 30 December, 2011 Share Posted 30 December, 2011 Anyone watch the ode to Jimmy last night, can't believe it was only half hour long, the great man needed at least an hour. Noticed John Craven get's an hour program tonight and he's still alive and although a minor ledge nowhere near Sir Jim. What next a four hour mini series of Fred Dinenage
FloridaMarlin Posted 30 December, 2011 Share Posted 30 December, 2011 I'm surprised he was given even a 30-minute tribute programme. He was a dreadful man, and some of the stories about him and his predillections would make your hair curl. Louis Theroux touched on some of it when he did his programme about him, but you couldn't expect the BBC to expose a man who underpinned their Saturday night entertainment for so many years. Now he's dead, some poor creature will come out of the woodwork soon.
Saint in Paradise Posted 30 December, 2011 Share Posted 30 December, 2011 (edited) Just watched the BBC's video of those who died in 2011. 8 minutes long, many mentioned, but nothing about Jimmy Saville. Seemed odd. Did you mean this one? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-16299678 Try 6.20 in from start.
