6 wins in last 36!

The ironic thing about this is that Burley's last 13 games he actually only managed 1 more win then Pearson.... So you could say 10 wins in 46 which makes it even worse including the time of Burley.

Which is as BS says pathetic

no it makes it better as the win ratio is slightly higher

Absolutely pathetic record, and people are still wondering why crowds are dropping!?

Lowe Factor + win ratio + reserves playing + anyone with any value being sold + inexperienced manager = bad times

This record of 6 in 36 also coincides with the departure of Burley - coincidence?

No coincidence at all. We spent the final part of last season once GB had left recovering from the mess he had gotten us into with his poor coaching abilities. This season though is a different matter, now we are dealing with the almost equally poor coaching abilities of JP.

By the way, the stats are incorrect IMHO. Since Burley left we have played 32 league matches and won 6 (w6 d12 l14). If you go back 36 league games this includes 4 of Burleys, and includes the solitary win in his last 7 games. So it would be 7 in 36. Under Pearon we only lost 4 in 14, and that includes the loss to Plymouth which he was only technically in charge for. If you were including cup games then there are 3 more wins to add (2 for JP and 1 for Gorman). It is therefore arguable that things have improved evn under Jan since Burley left, only Gorman had less league wins that Burley in his last 7 games.

but if we can expect say 1/4 of the games to be drawn that another 11pts ish which means that Saints can expect....

4 or 5 more wins this season

7 more draws

the rest losses

total points.... 35pts at the end of the season

Realistic???/

Season is 46 games total. With a win ratio of 1/6 we will win only 7.5 games (call it 7) I'd guess that our draw rate is 2/6 (1/3) meaning we will draw approx 15 this season.

That's a points total of 36 so yes realistic.

Colchester finished bottom last season with 38 points (sc3nthorpe 46, Leicester 52)

JP has 4 in 15 (27%)

NP had 3 in 14/13 (21% / 23%)

GB had 10 in 28 (3/%) [only in '07-'08]

JP & NG have a similar record in wins then but NP got a few more draws. That said, JP has a tighter butget. As for including Burley in this, its rather useless, he had a squad that did include Skacel en Rasiak. The others didn't.
