View From The Top Posted 27 December, 2011 Posted 27 December, 2011 I cannot remember a season where our crossing has been so damn good (the good old days of RD accepted but I'm too young to remember). From both flanks it's been tremendous and the cross from Frazier yesterday was nay on perfection.
shurlock Posted 27 December, 2011 Posted 27 December, 2011 Agree but most of our crosses/assists have come from the right. Cant think of many down the left - plenty of room for improvement there.
Toomer Posted 27 December, 2011 Posted 27 December, 2011 Shame we still can't deliver a decent corner.

Saint Garrett Posted 27 December, 2011 Posted 27 December, 2011 Agree but most of our crosses/assists have come from the right. Cant think of many down the left - plenty of room for improvement there. Coventry from Fox>Guly. Pinpoint.
Window Cleaner Posted 27 December, 2011 Posted 27 December, 2011 True not since Sydenham / Paine have we crossed so well! Tommy Jenkins put in a handy cross from time to time,I remember Sydenham getting endless stick from the assembled public under the East Stand for his crossing.Theory was if he went a bit slower and took a bit more care with his delivery he'd be a really good player.
shurlock Posted 27 December, 2011 Posted 27 December, 2011 Coventry from Fox>Guly. Pinpoint. True and Lallana>Harding at Leicester was another but I wouldn't be surprised if we scored 2x or 3x more goals down the right than the left.
Hatch Posted 27 December, 2011 Posted 27 December, 2011 Yep, agree, Richardsons crossing has been the best I've seen from any full back for a long long time
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 27 December, 2011 Posted 27 December, 2011 Richardson is currently 2nd in the Championship assists table, with 8 assists so far this season.

Whilst good old Tommy would beat a player and then go back and try to do it again!
Badger Posted 27 December, 2011 Posted 27 December, 2011 Agree but most of our crosses/assists have come from the right. Cant think of many down the left - plenty of room for improvement there. Dickson looked our best crosser from the left last season. Shame in my view that he is out of plans this season.
Badger Posted 27 December, 2011 Posted 27 December, 2011 Whilst good old Tommy would beat a player and then go back and try to do it again! A bit of a Lallana trait there, not to mention Fernandez.
View From The Top Posted 27 December, 2011 Author Posted 27 December, 2011 Dickson looked our best crosser from the left last season. Shame in my view that he is out of plans this season. He's not as good a player as Harding or Fox.
dronskisaint Posted 28 December, 2011 Posted 28 December, 2011 Whilst good old Tommy would beat a player and then go back and try to do it again! About half way through Monday's match I was thinking that we sing the same (Na na hey hey) song for SDR that we sang for Tommy Jenkins...just an idle thought..
