beatlesaint Posted 24 December, 2011 Posted 24 December, 2011 It really annoys me that the National media and people like Fergie, Redcrapp etc are slagging off Blackburn fans for their protests against Steve Kean. Unless they actually physically attack him which would obviously be going too far they are entitiled to their views as they pay their money to watch that crap every week. The local paper has picked up on the tone of the supporters and they are not calling for him to be given another chance. This all reminds me very much of the Branfoot days with protests before, during and after games, sit down demonstrations in the car park etc etc. Only difference for me is that Branfoot looks like Bill Shankly compared to Steve Kean.

beatlesaint Posted 24 December, 2011 Author Posted 24 December, 2011 You are joking, right? well yeah obviously, I sat through it all thanks very much.
Badger Posted 24 December, 2011 Posted 24 December, 2011 Kean is probably the most 'out of his depth' manager in the Premiership since Wigley.
Glasgow_Saint Posted 24 December, 2011 Posted 24 December, 2011 Good manager hcdajfu if NA is sacked (if we dont go up)
Micky Posted 24 December, 2011 Posted 24 December, 2011 Kean is probably the most 'out of his depth' manager in the Premiership since Wigley. Tend to agree - but feel a little sorry for him as he sort of 'fell' into the job. Mind you everytime I see hi interviewed on TV I think he looks like the rabbit in the headlights. I fear that he is about to burst out crying. How many more positives can he pull out of the hat given his record and Blackburns current position. Well out of his depth and the sooner he goes the better.
Hatch Posted 24 December, 2011 Posted 24 December, 2011 Blackburn will be in the Champions League in 3 to 4 years. That's what Kean said. He should have stayed quiet.
Saint in Paradise Posted 24 December, 2011 Posted 24 December, 2011 Of course all the other managers want him to stay - easy 6 points to help their own position. I bet some in our league want him to be still there this time next year
Sour Mash Posted 24 December, 2011 Posted 24 December, 2011 I think its a s**t reaction from Blackburn fans, if they want to have a go at anyone it should be their owners. Also I've seen us play Blackburn loads of times over the years, never seen their fans make that much effort getting behind their side. They've been spoilt over the last 20 years and considering the size of their club they're bound to struggle in the Prem at times.

I expect others said this of us when we had Branfoot, then more recently Gray,Luggy, Wigley, the Dutch duo etc

Sour Mash Posted 24 December, 2011 Posted 24 December, 2011 I expect others said this of us when we had Branfoot, then more recently Gray,Luggy, Wigley, the Dutch duo etc Apart from Branfoot we never came remotely close to giving a manager that much stick, even with Branfoot we weren't as bad as Blackburn have been with Kean.
beatlesaint Posted 27 December, 2011 Author Posted 27 December, 2011 even with Branfoot we weren't as bad as Blackburn have been with Kean. Dont forget the "Hope You Die Soon" fanzine front cover or have Blackburn fans done worse yet ?
