Window Cleaner Posted 31 October, 2008 Posted 31 October, 2008 (edited) 7) Can only be the Misfits. It was Clark Gable's last film and one of the last for Marilyn Monroe, not sure if it was the last though. the song would be Who killed Marilyn Edited 31 October, 2008 by Window Cleaner
Pancake Posted 31 October, 2008 Author Posted 31 October, 2008 Right band, wrong song WC. (and being the pedant i am, i would point out that Who Killed Marilyn was a Glenn Danzii solo song the is often mis-attributed to the Misfits)

Pancake Posted 31 October, 2008 Author Posted 31 October, 2008 Yeah baby! I will not be commenting on the lyrics after a nasty incident on the old SaintsForever forums....
Pancake Posted 31 October, 2008 Author Posted 31 October, 2008 It's a beautiful song and no mistake. Glenn is a poet, man. "sweet lovely death, I am waiting for your breath. Come sweet death, one Last Caress...."
Kadeem Hardison Posted 31 October, 2008 Posted 31 October, 2008 I should point out that this thread has accidentally been put on the Muppet Show rather than the secret moderator's forum.
norwaysaint Posted 31 October, 2008 Posted 31 October, 2008 I should point out that this thread has accidentally been put on the Muppet Show rather than the secret moderator's forum. Wish I could go on a special forum where we could all be mods together.
Wiltshire Saint Posted 31 October, 2008 Posted 31 October, 2008 Wish I could go on a special forum where we could all be mods together. I would even give up jury service to do such a thing
jawillwill Posted 1 November, 2008 Posted 1 November, 2008 Wish I could go on a special forum where we could all be mods together. FFS no such thing exists. That's just an urban e-myth (apparently).

hamster Posted 2 November, 2008 Posted 2 November, 2008 14. Eery Lobster Mantra got mixed up leading the poeple out of Egypt Would this one perchance be, Bob Marley with Exodus?
Pancake Posted 3 November, 2008 Author Posted 3 November, 2008 8. Nina Simone. I Cast a Spell on You. Close enough. 17 is Don't Believe The Hype by Pubic Enemy. Correct 14. Eery Lobster Mantra got mixed up leading the poeple out of Egypt Would this one perchance be, Bob Marley with Exodus? Aye laddie.
norwaysaint Posted 3 November, 2008 Posted 3 November, 2008 14. Eery Lobster Mantra got mixed up leading the poeple out of Egypt Would this one perchance be, Bob Marley with Exodus? Sounds like it should be an anagram, but it's not. How do you get Bob Marley from that?
Pancake Posted 3 November, 2008 Author Posted 3 November, 2008 Sounds like it should be an anagram, but it's not. How do you get Bob Marley from that? Eery Lobster Mantra Robert Nesta Marley
norwaysaint Posted 3 November, 2008 Posted 3 November, 2008 Eery Lobster Mantra Robert Nesta Marley I'm not sure, but I don't think that's the name he released Exodus under. The whole point of anagram clues is supposed to be that they can lead you to the right answer isn't it. I didn't pay my 5 pounds for this kind of shoddy service.

Exodus was by Bob Marley & The Wailers. Hell, its a clue, Im pretty sure there are more than just Page & Plant in Led Zep (see clue 3), more that Tyler & Perry in Aerosmith, more than just Freddie in Queen...
