The9 Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 (edited) As per thread title - we know Puncheon is only on loan. "Saints permanently" is allowable, but returning to Saints when his QPR loan is up before getting shunted off elsewhere doesn't count. You may also take this opportunity to post stupid names of obscure clubs in an attempt to look clever. I'll be using this OP to keep track, and the winner will get precisely nowt (bit more cash-strapped than the Saints Forever days when I'd occasionally stretch to a Snickers bar). I'll start, I think we're sending him on loan to Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak. Don't text in, it's just for fun. We have 5 correct predictions, with Fan the Flames the first to say "stay at Saints", though he's only fully right if Reading win the playoffs and he signs for them in the summer. Shirleysfc, as the first to say "St Mary's", is first runner-up. I think this thread is a pretty good indicator of how unlikely this return has been - and it also gives the first known instance of Alpine being right about something positive happening to Saints. tartan_saint Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 The Peruvian powerhouse that is, Deportivo ****a.
doddisalegend Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 I'd like to say us as I think he has something to offer....................but I reckon he'll go somewhere in London but not in our league so Charlton
The9 Posted 20 December, 2011 Author Posted 20 December, 2011 Deportivo W*nka, ffs Two Vs gets around the sweary filter nicely, I find.
Pilchards Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 He will be running at Haydock in the 3-55 race on the 21st of May 2012.
Bailey Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 Millwall, Forest and Blackpool have all registered their interest. QPR may extend his loan until the end of the season, but it depends on whether they secure one or two of their preferred transfer targets.

QPR may extend his loan until the end of the season, but it depends on whether they secure one or two of their preferred transfer targets. You can't have that many guesses, plus Millwall has already been taken!
SNSUN Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 Seriously, Swansea, and I was itching to think of a joke answer.
Sour Mash Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 I'd like to say us as I think he has something to offer....................but I reckon he'll go somewhere in London but not in our league so Charlton Pity we haven't been able to manage him, would definitely have been a decent option to have off the bench or filling in nicely for Chaplow. A midfield of Lallana, two of Cork/Hammond/Schneiderlin and Puncheon would be decent.
Prince Jazzbo Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 I've heard a rumour that he is going to FC Santa Coloma current Andorran First Division title holders.
ottery st mary Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 Milwall..if they can pay his wages....If not Sidmouth Vikings are waiting in the wings to snap him up.. He certainly will be lacking match fitness now..
EastleighSoulBoy Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 NHS to get the bench splinters removed from the ar5e.
VectisSaint Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 I heard he is joining the Kaiser Chiefs on drums. Not even a musician, let alone a footballer.
CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 I'm betting Preston South End, Wolverhampton Stay-at-Homes, or maybe Sheffield Tuesday.
del boy Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 West Ham to screw up our Championship top spot seems about right, failing that similar logic with Cardiff, Middlesborough, Hull, Leicester, Birmingham, Leeds etc...
Fan The Flames Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 He will come back to us when NA realises that the transfer pot is smaller then he thought, they will cuddle and he will be allowed back on the bus. However despite how well he plays the w@nker element in the crowd will be on his back and he will leave for the play off winners, Reading, in the summer.
capitalsaint Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 you are all wrong. he is going to nottingham forest. hth
Clapham Saint Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 Southampton Saints (or whatever the women's team is/was called - do they still exist?)
alpine_saint Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 Hmmm. If I were NA, and seeing as he's a RM and we are continually playing three CMs and ending up with an unbalanced midfield, I would be thinking about calling him into my office when he returns, and if his mind appears right, giving him another chance.......... Unlikely I know. And having been one of the more outspoken on the issue of Puncheon, I can believe I saying it either. I must be really worried about our season being de-railled...
PhilippineSaint Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 Fulchester United....... There Goalkeeper is a skate
shirleysfc Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 He'll finish the season at St Marys scoring the winning goal against the skates to promote us and relegate them.

I'd now keep him until the end of the season, a versatile player that we are missing with Chaplow injured. We would have been better with him than without him. That is subject to him being able to fit in to the team togetherness otherwise sell him.
Badger Posted 20 December, 2011 Posted 20 December, 2011 Fray Bentos or Watford * *as a makeweight if we want Sordell
