Why the hell they got Claridge in for the skates and Shearer for Saints I don't know - Shearer is no Saint...he abandoned us to go back to his roots, so he was never going to provide the balance needed. I think Claridge to his credit did a good job of providing compliments about Saints - quite balanced actually - despite his allegiance to the blue few.

Claridge is the only one interested in anything below PL with the knowledge to back it up.....Shearer blatantly had no clue about saints or the FL just trotted out cliches about Lambert (clearly the only player he had even heard of on the saints team)

krissyboy31 Posted 19 December, 2011 Posted 19 December, 2011 The BBc used to be streets ahead when it came to sports coverage but seems they get so little practice that they are now alsorans compared to Sky and even the other commecial channels. Terrible yesterday.
