Chez Posted 19 December, 2011 Posted 19 December, 2011 I thought Hammond had an absolute stormer of a game and my man of the match. He was everywhere and really controlled the game. Lambert was top notch too. Forget the goal, his first touch under huge pressure was as good as anything I've seen from him. I actually thought the two centre backs looked nervous. They let the ball bounce too often and got away with it on a couple of times. Some clearances were sliced and Jos very nearly got caught out when slipping, dilly dallying and treading on the ball. Lallana was a great out ball. The ball stuck and he didn't give it away. I've criticised him recently, but he was much improved. Hopefully he has got over his injury as he will make the difference.
Dr Who? Posted 19 December, 2011 Posted 19 December, 2011 Hooiveld, looked solid, and looks more and more impressive every time I see him play.
saint.tom.clancy Posted 19 December, 2011 Posted 19 December, 2011 Pleased that none of them seemed to bottle it this time. Jos was quality yet again, and i've got a lot of time for Cork after yesterday, was well up for it and put in a good shift.
Iowsaintsfan Posted 19 December, 2011 Posted 19 December, 2011 Jos for me, he looked really up for it the whole game
Eastcowzer Posted 19 December, 2011 Posted 19 December, 2011 Who did BBC give it to? No-one really deserved it tbh, I would go for Lambert, constant threat for the whole game. Lallana would probably be up there. Surprised anybody could make their minds up The TV coverage was a shambles. Took them 20 minutes to put up the 'team sheet', and then only with a rolling bottom of the screen banner. Obviously trainees from 'South Today running the production. camera men failing to to adjust their brilliance controls when the ball switched from the shaded to sunny areas. MOM. Well I think it would have to be either Rickie or Jos.
