tiger Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 According to Solent Saints being forced to defend too deep and Svensson holding things together. Schneiderlin coming off which is a surprise to Merrington.
St Landrew Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 I'm having trouble with some of the new names. COYR!!!! Same here. Especially when Cope mentions Cardiff's McCormack. I suddenly think we're in attack, and then realise it isn't McGoldrick.
alpine_saint Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 and what is that? playing McG? maybe he failed to mark for a corner but goal in first game is what he is there for? Or still concerned about experience of our CBs? Perry and Svensson The youngsters not coping with their hod-carriers...obviously...
dubai_phil Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 Time for a few offsides to slow the pace of the game down BWP is on along with Wotton
SuperMikey Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 I'd take 1-1 against Cardiff tbh. I had us down to lose resoundingly but it sounds as if this could be a performance to build on. COYR.
AwaySaint1 Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 According to Solent Saints being forced to defend too deep and Svensson holding things together. Schneiderlin coming off which is a surprise to Merrington. Whos on?
Ohio Saint Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 We are away to one of the better teams in the division. We are doing well so far. Leave us alone until we lose 4-1!
musesaint Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 bwp to get a brace, you heard it here first Apparently he's been revising the offside rule over the summer
LVSaint Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 have skysports centre given up displaying the live table already?
ozzmeister Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 Gaey Monk sent off for Swansea there's a name from the past. That aside COYR would be happy with a drawer but even happier for a goal. Two more good subsitutions as well keep it up Jan!!
SaintDonkey Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 Swansea and Wrexham both had players sent off. Come on Cardiff make it a red card hattrick for Wales
NickG Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 Dave Armstrong -criminal if we don;t get at least a point, can see us getting 3!
alpine_saint Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 have skysports centre given up displaying the live table already? I cant get their Score Centre up at all..
musesaint Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 Dave Armstrong -criminal if we don;t get at least a point, can see us getting 3! Oh sh*t ...kiss of death there !
dubai_phil Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 So the stats say Cardiff with 500% possession and Armstrong saying Cardiff are struggling for possession.... hmmmmmmm
NickG Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 The youngsters not coping with their hod-carriers...obviously... ahh, forgot how you loved the days of JW and II in the team, each to their own!
AwaySaint1 Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 Oh sh*t ...kiss of death there ! Thought Cardiff had scored then:D
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 We are away to one of the better teams in the division. We are doing well so far. Leave us alone until we lose 4-1! Oh come on!!!! Cardiff are average on a good day.
1965onwards Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 Saints have steadied since the subs came on.Well done JP.
LVSaint Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 I cant get their Score Centre up at all.. scorecentre works but no live...it did tend to crash last season...speaking of which...this still works (until we score again?)!
alpine_saint Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 ahh, forgot how you loved the days of JW and II in the team, each to their own! I watched Darren Moore and Steve Howard stomp Gareth Bale into the ground in one of the Derby matches in the play-off season. Sorry, I geuinely believe this team is too lightweight and young, however talented they may be.
Nexstar Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 Oh come on!!!! Cardiff are average on a good day. I disagree. And so does the FA cup.
toofarnorth Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 Sky sports in positive comment shocker. 5* to Perry and Killer.
Ohio Saint Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 Oh come on!!!! Cardiff are average on a good day. Average, yes, but in this division they are still one of the better teams.
dubai_phil Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 FFS Saints GET A GRIP and get a foot on the ball and move it around
Murdock Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 McInally (sp.) in giving saints praise shocker: Svennson and Perry giving a 5 Star performance at the back for Saints.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 I watched Darren Moore and Steve Howard stomp Gareth Bale into the ground in one of the Derby matches in the play-off season. Sorry, I geuinely believe this team is too lightweight and young, however talented they may be. Completly agree.
alpine_saint Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 Oh come on!!!! Cardiff are average on a good day. I would describe it as one of the more difficult away days we will face this season, to be honest..
Runaway Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 Hey, do we finally have a manager who knows how to make substitutions?!
saintkiptanui Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 Completly agree. Well done, you two get a paper hat each.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 Average, yes, but in this division they are still one of the better teams. dont agree, they are average at best for this league. There are far better sides as we will find out.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 Well done, you two get a paper hat each. Can i have a red one:D
ozzmeister Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 10 minutes to go, keep it together, pojt would be fantastic!!
saintkiptanui Posted 9 August, 2008 Posted 9 August, 2008 dont agree, they are average at best for this league. There are far better sides as we will find out.another paper hat, well done.
