Thanks to someone digging out the 100 things to do as a Saints fan post from Saints Forever, I was reminded of the wayback machine.

Brilliantly there's a load of Saints Forever stuff archived in it :

The old Stadium gallery : http://web.archive.org/web/20040404004325/http://www.saintsforever.com/stadium.html

SF Front page from just after beating Man City at Eastlands in 2004 (under Sturrock) : http://web.archive.org/web/20040418020449/http://www.saintsforever.com/

The SF Forum index with a load of thread titles (looks pretty tame actually) : http://web.archive.org/web/20040326015626/http://saintschat.com/ipw-web/bulletin/bb/index.php

Daren W's Beautiful South - specifically what he thinks of Hoddle coming back (have fun, Dalek) : http://web.archive.org/web/20040409094938/http://www.saintsforever.com/bs.html

There must be loads more, it says there are 9,000+ URLs under the Forum ID alone - fill your boots.

Glad I quoted you now after that edit of yours.

Now everyone can see just how much of a gimp you made yourself look...

I'm going to wear my gimp costume on Sunday now as long as the other half lets me take it. She normally has her special friend round when I'm at the football.

BTW, the edit was clearly a joke. I'd seen that you'd quoted me so it wouldn't cover up my ridiculous mistake.

I was aware of that.

Having to explain that you made a joke when it was quite clearly intended as a joke has only served to make you look an even bigger gimp than you already did. I'd suggest you ask to borrow that gimp suit for Palace at home as well...

'Stating that the fans did not know what was right for the club' ie their opposition ( the vocal minority) to bringing Glenn back.

Sadly for SFC this proved right unless you agree in free falling to the championship and then the third division. Clearly the guy who wrote the column makes a major mistake in hi assessment.

The last SF front pages link to the upstart TSF as well http://web.archive.org/web/20070302131911/http://www.thesaintsforum.co.uk/viewforum.php?f=1&sid=1f437a035d6c31ef50a00e5d644fd20b

Can't get into the link but there's a thread about whether Martin Cranie was the solution at right back and whether Sarmiento and Idiakez failing was what cost us.

Oh, and something about Saints and Norwich chasing some Hearts midfielder...

Does it have the memorable reaction to the new statue (yes that one) topic?

And Art's Sergeant Pepper LP cover skit?

Two of the great's so sadly lost from the past.

The reaction thread to that statue was just pure genius. The funniest part of that thread were the people trying to justify it as a piece of art.

Time to start googling for that thread I think...
