Clapham Saint Posted 14 December, 2011 Share Posted 14 December, 2011 Without raking too much over the ticket office's ineptitude... My on-line order history has been showing an allocated ticket for over a week They took my money over a week ago The last attempt to collect bus tickets was at the game on Saturday when I was told that they couldn't be collected without the confirmation e-mail as they hadn't yet been printed. After trying to be patient I finally gave in and tried to chase them up yesterday. The call centre ticket office number say they can't help The stadium ticket office number appears to be off the hook An e-mail to the tickets@saintsfc.co.uk remains unanswered So when/will I receive my confirmation e-mail? Closest guess wins a packet of crisps and a place on the bench vs the skates. I'm going for Friday 11.45 am

stockportsaint Posted 14 December, 2011 Share Posted 14 December, 2011 I still haven't got my email but my uncle who works in Southampton managed to pick up my ticket with no problems yesterday morning. My mum collected seven tickets for our group on Monday, without an email, just used my name and eventually they were able to find them - took them 10 minutes. She then did what the ticket office should have done, and posted them guaranteed next day delivery.
Saint_Jonny Posted 14 December, 2011 Share Posted 14 December, 2011 Just got back from doing my xmas shopping. 20 minutes later the phone rings, its the ticket office saying they got my card details wrong. Problem? I just spent all my money thinking I've DEFINITELY missed out with it being 4 days before the game. So no ticket for me. I am so ****ing miserable right now. Surely you can find someone to lend you the money for the trip? I'd do anything I could to be there in your situation.

I think they do have tickets in hand but can't work out how to sell them or the OB won't let them. All in all it's a complete balls up.
Saint_Jonny Posted 14 December, 2011 Share Posted 14 December, 2011 I had the money set aside for it when I put the ballot form in, that was 3 weeks ago or something. From what I can tell the ticket will go unused.

I'm going for Friday 11.45 am Having had a phone call from the Ticket Office this morning to say that I was one of 800 rejections for one reason or another try this number 02380 711912, I rang it and got call answered straight away, sorted out the issue and will pick up coach tickets on the day. To confirm, the Ticket Office will be open from 0900 on Sunday morning until about 1015. The coaches depart SMS at 1100.

LGTL Posted 15 December, 2011 Share Posted 15 December, 2011 For anyone still wondering, the ticket office will 100% be open for collections on Sunday, and people can also collect from Winchester and Bursledon. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10280~2547734,00.html
LGTL Posted 15 December, 2011 Share Posted 15 December, 2011 (edited) That also confirms there are 41 coaches making the trip. An average of 70 would suggest we are taking around 2800. Although if it's an average nearer 75 per bus and it'd be over 3000. I personally don't believe all these stories that the away end will be half empty etc. Edited 15 December, 2011 by LGTL
Noodles34 Posted 15 December, 2011 Share Posted 15 December, 2011 there are tickets still for sale, you need to be on the database and obviously collect the coach ticket beforehand.

SFKA South Woodford Posted 15 December, 2011 Share Posted 15 December, 2011 I just spoke to the ticket office at St Marys, they said that they will only be open from 9am until 10 am for collections, as everyone has to be on their coach by 10:30 as thats when they will begin leaving. I think I may have to make a trip down on Saturday just to pick up my tickets, as it's going to be manic Sunday morning. For anyone still wondering, the ticket office will 100% be open for collections on Sunday, and people can also collect from Winchester and Bursledon. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/TicketNews/0,,10280~2547734,00.html
The9 Posted 15 December, 2011 Share Posted 15 December, 2011 I pitched up to get my 2nd ballot tickets yesterday only to find that they still had the ones I got printed for me on Friday as WELL as the ones they processed as part of the en masse emailing process over the weekend. Unfortunately I wasn't able to blag that they weren't just duplicates (same 3 names and crucially the same bus) so I didn't get what would have effectively been 3 free tickets. Weird glitch, the original post shows "en en masse" (which I didn't type) whilst the quoted text shows "en masse" (as typed).
