So Friday 30th December would probably, being the eve before New Years Eve, fairly quiet around the city centre, certainly more so than the usual Friday nights I would think. So good old Hampshire Constabluary decide to change a football fixture that will bring an extra 20,000 plus into the city, therefore giving them two busy nights in a row ? Genius.

Genius. Those 20,000 aren't going to be drunk and most will head straight home after the game. Unlike those out on Saturday evening.

So if you apply that same logic to Saturday 3.00 kick off there isn't a problem, they would all be out of the city by 5.30 - 6.00.
