saints_is_the_south Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 Bus 5 with saint_bert + 2 others.
dune Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 The traditional division of an army is into three battles or wards; the Van, the Main, and Rear. The buses are divided accordingly.
John D Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 So 30 is highest bus number then. Say 50 people per bus then we have around 1500 fans going then.
Window Cleaner Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 So 30 is highest bus number then. Say 50 people per bus then we have around 1500 fans going then. That can't be right now can it.
st alex Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 So 30 is highest bus number then. Say 50 people per bus then we have around 1500 fans going then. depends if they're coaches id buses.
Sour Mash Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 So 30 is highest bus number then. Say 50 people per bus then we have around 1500 fans going then. There are about 30 buses going from St Marys and about 10 each from Winch and Burseldon, so about 50 all together. SOme of them will be double deckers taking 70 odd per bus.
PhilippineSaint Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 So 30 is highest bus number then. Say 50 people per bus then we have around 1500 fans going then. Is that 30 from SMS or also including the buses from Winchester and Bursledon as these are also numbered from 1 to whatever
LGTL Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 Is that 30 from SMS or also including the buses from Winchester and Bursledon as these are also numbered from 1 to whatever Each bus will probably carry 75ish too, not 50.
SaintNeil90 Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 Bus 4 with the group of 20+ already mentioned on here. PS... I've been told they are 70 seater buses.
Window Cleaner Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 PS... I've been told they are 70 seater buses. Oh the corporation buses;don't travel very fast they weren't built for comfort, they were built to last. to the tune of the Woolston Ferry.
100%Red&White Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 Going by the OP's list, it looks like the buses are numbered from 1 from each departure point - God help those collecting bus tickets on the day that aren't leaving from the stadium, recent history says we'll see bus tickets for Winchester coach 1, etc. turning up at Bursledon and vice-versa - why didn't they just number them 1-50/whatever?
Spudders Posted 12 December, 2011 Author Posted 12 December, 2011 - why didn't they just number them 1-50/whatever? Stop it right now with that crazy common sense thinking. There's no place for the in the ticket office.
Toomer Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 If as posted there are 30 buses and there are seats for 70 on each bus that is 2100, where are the rest of the so called 900 tickets.
saintscottofthenortham Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 If as posted there are 30 buses and there are seats for 70 on each bus that is 2100, where are the rest of the so called 900 tickets. There will be more than 30 buses.
Sour Mash Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 If as posted there are 30 buses and there are seats for 70 on each bus that is 2100, where are the rest of the so called 900 tickets. Read what people have actually posted on here.
Spudders Posted 12 December, 2011 Author Posted 12 December, 2011 WTF, why have I just wasted time copying all the latest additions to a doc so that I can then paste them into the OP, only to find them already listed? Baj is this you flexing your behind the scene skills!!!!!!
hypochondriac Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 Ladysaint has been listed as bus 13 but she isn't...
Bourno Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 I am Bus one from Burseldon with my nipper and the Lockyer clan
Spudders Posted 12 December, 2011 Author Posted 12 December, 2011 Ladysaint has been listed as bus 13 but she isn't... I've put her to the correct bus. As per my post above someone has been changing details in my absence. The OP didn't say it had been edited by anyone else so I'm assuming some behind the scene amending going on (either that or someone got into my flat at lunchtime, guessed my computer password and decided to update the thread! )

The9 Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 (edited) Me and MrsThe9 are on bus 9 from St Mary's... along with about 5 of our mates. I'll let them out themselves though - one of them has already posted on this thread without giving himself away. By the way, there are bus 1s at all three sites and I seriously doubt its the same bus, I suspect you should update he OP with 3 different sites rather than having bus numbers and the different sites in brackets - they are different buses, after all. Highest number I've seen for bus numbers so far is the #30 my 3 +1s will be on. Edited 12 December, 2011 by The9
Toomer Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 Looking at the departure points listed I think it might be as follow; Buses 1 - 3 Bursledon depart & return Buses 1 - 3 Winchester depart & return Buses 1 - 30 SMS depart & return
Spudders Posted 12 December, 2011 Author Posted 12 December, 2011 By the way, there are bus 1s at all three sites and I seriously doubt its the same bus, I suspect you should update he OP with 3 different sites rather than having bus numbers and the different sites in brackets - they are different buses, after all. yeah I was going to do this, but some people haven't said what bus 1 they are on so I thought it easier to just leave as is for now, although I could assume if people don't say otherwise they're going from SMS. As more names get added I may well split them out later on. I also read that 'some' buses were going from SMS to another pick up point, so they could be the same buses.
Tamesaint Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 I've been told they are 70 seater buses. Its going to be like a mid winter version of: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057541/
prideofthesouth Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 I have just heard that B Rabbit has picked up the order of red and white wigs from just for fun, for bus 14.
Jack Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 Looking at the departure points listed I think it might be as follow; Buses 1 - 3 Bursledon depart & return Buses 1 - 3 Winchester depart & return Buses 1 - 30 SMS depart & return We've got some of our group on Bus 2 Bursledon, and all of the second ballot tickets are on Bus 5 Bursledon I think
BJBSAINTS Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 Bus 6 from SMS with one other...... Roll on Sunday
rshephard3 Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 We've got 6 tickets in our group spanning 5 buses.. Brilliant. Even the 2 forms for son and dad that were stapled together and in the same envelope from the same address didnt get put on the same bus!!
shurlock Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 Bus 1 from Winchester with one other. #on the top table.
