samwhocan Posted 11 December, 2011 Posted 11 December, 2011 Saints play Forest at the City Ground on Saturday 14th January 2012. When do tickets go on sale?
Orange Posted 11 December, 2011 Posted 11 December, 2011 This should be a good one. Not sure about tickets.
Saint_Jonny Posted 11 December, 2011 Posted 11 December, 2011 Didn't realise it was as soon as that. Deffo up for this one, not been to the city ground before. Cotteril isn't doing a very good job, lets hope that continues when we come to town!
Griffo Posted 12 December, 2011 Posted 12 December, 2011 Have been booked up for a while now. 20 quid return from London, not too bad.
Sour Mash Posted 22 December, 2011 Posted 22 December, 2011 I wonder how long we'll have to wait to get these on sale? Would be handy to have them available before the Palace & Bristol City games for us out of towners.........
rednrednredandwhite Posted 23 December, 2011 Posted 23 December, 2011 Think they go on sale at forest on the 24th, maybe the same this end
voteforpedro Posted 27 December, 2011 Posted 27 December, 2011 Can't find anything on the official site, still no news I assume?
Sour Mash Posted 27 December, 2011 Posted 27 December, 2011 My mate asked at ticket office yesterday and was told they're going on sale on the 3rd. Annoying as we'd miss being able to buy them at the Bristol City game.
Chez Posted 27 December, 2011 Posted 27 December, 2011 My mate asked at ticket office yesterday and was told they're going on sale on the 3rd. Annoying as we'd miss being able to buy them at the Bristol City game.becoming a regular thing, this last minute, no chance to buy after home games thing.
Berkshire Saint Posted 28 December, 2011 Posted 28 December, 2011 Also not giving much of a window for general sale either if those dates are correct as ST holders will be given a week or so to get theirs. Should be taking 3,000 or so up here given our numbers at Derby, Leicester and Coventry this season.
HedgeEnder Posted 30 December, 2011 Posted 30 December, 2011 Tickets are on sale from 3rd Jan, ST holders can claim 2 tickets each. General sale from 10th Jan
Sour Mash Posted 30 December, 2011 Posted 30 December, 2011 Tickets are on sale from 3rd Jan, ST holders can claim 2 tickets each. General sale from 10th Jan Someone at Saints must really be desperate for these £3 booking fees to keep coming in.
saint_jas Posted 1 January, 2012 Posted 1 January, 2012 Tickets are on sale for this, dunno when. Got my ticket last night. Official site, very close to useless.
RonManager Posted 1 January, 2012 Posted 1 January, 2012 Just bought mine online, which was surprising!
Huffton Posted 1 January, 2012 Posted 1 January, 2012 Had a look online, but not showing any kids tickets which is strange. Think I will hang on until its announced on the OS.
HedgeEnder Posted 1 January, 2012 Posted 1 January, 2012 Just bought 6 tickets on line with only one customer number

rednrednredandwhite Posted 3 January, 2012 Posted 3 January, 2012 Are there some decent pubs near the ground? nearly all the pubs near the ground are home fans only, last time we went to the supporters club bar at notts county's ground. staying the weekend, so will have a few in the town centre and make my way to the ground later on

Both a couple of minutes from the stadium.

Appy Posted 3 January, 2012 Posted 3 January, 2012 Sorry just realised you're talking about the Forest game and I'm thinking off Notts County.. Forest and County are right by each other.
Sour Mash Posted 3 January, 2012 Posted 3 January, 2012 Forest and County are right by each other. Doesn't mean that it's the same going for a beer regardless of which side you play. Plenty of good pubs in Nottingham city centre, always a good day out on the p**s.
View From The Top Posted 3 January, 2012 Posted 3 January, 2012 On OS: Adults £27; Seniors (over 65): £19; U18s: £14; U12s: £7. Yep, sorted. Nipper for £7.
Turkish Posted 3 January, 2012 Posted 3 January, 2012 Yep, sorted. Nipper for £7. I bet that was relief, didn't think they were doing concessions, £27 was a bit steep for a nine year old mate!!
View From The Top Posted 3 January, 2012 Posted 3 January, 2012 I bet that was relief, didn't think they were doing concessions, £27 was a bit steep for a nine year old mate!! Ade's taking his to nippers as well so £21 for the 3 is a wee bit better that £81!
Griffo Posted 3 January, 2012 Posted 3 January, 2012 Can't decide whether to get an under 18 or under 12. Are there barcode scanners at Forest?
This Charming Man Posted 4 January, 2012 Posted 4 January, 2012 Can't decide whether to get an under 18 or under 12. Are there barcode scanners at Forest? There are but apparently they have loads of stewards checking everyone's tickets before scanning them. You'll be alright with an Under 18 ticket.
Griffo Posted 6 January, 2012 Posted 6 January, 2012 Seem to remember drinking in a pub in the side of a castle. It claimed it was the oldest in England or something? The Old Jerusalem? Or am I speaking out my anal passage?
Sour Mash Posted 6 January, 2012 Posted 6 January, 2012 Seem to remember drinking in a pub in the side of a castle. It claimed it was the oldest in England or something? The Old Jerusalem? Or am I speaking out my anal passage? Yeah that ain't bad, worth doing for the novelty value alone, but there's better pubs dotted around not too far from that.
saint_jas Posted 6 January, 2012 Posted 6 January, 2012 Yeah that ain't bad, worth doing for the novelty value alone, but there's better pubs dotted around not too far from that. Ye olde Jerusalem inn.
rednrednredandwhite Posted 6 January, 2012 Posted 6 January, 2012 Ye olde Jerusalem inn. Ye olde trip to Jerusalem

Yep, one of the pubs I'd definitely reccomend is that. Good for a few beers in the evening as well.
This Charming Man Posted 9 January, 2012 Posted 9 January, 2012 Hopefully we can sell this out. 3k to Cov, just under 3k for Leicester and 1,800 for Cov in the cup. It would appear our fans have finally found where the Midlands are...

Hemel Saint Posted 9 January, 2012 Posted 9 January, 2012 Recommend the Morton felloWs and clayton: http://www.fellowsmortonandclayton.co.uk/ Nice beer...one of my fav notts pubs... Our group will be heading for here too. Anyone know what the parking is like around the pub...
Sour Mash Posted 9 January, 2012 Posted 9 January, 2012 Our group will be heading for here too. Anyone know what the parking is like around the pub... Can't think of loads immediately around the pub, but reckon if you head along Castle Boulevard you'll find somewhere close enough. Other good pubs are the Newshouse and the Vat & Fiddle.
