The official unofficial January transfer targets thread..

Dalek said we'd lose the next five games - we drew today so he was wrong.

He hasn't mentioned that whilst he continually flogs his dead horse into a red stain on the floor on every thread he can. Every post mentions 'like I said' or 'I told you so'. Oh boy forums do allow egos that would normally be restrained to few dozen people run unrestrained....

This is how it goes:

We will finish 17th or slightly higher because that has been the plan all season.

We have no ambition and are tighter than a crabs bottom and will reap the harvest we have sown.

We will not be signing any good players on, only cheap crap ones (the most recent staring with 'ha ha' which presumably means he finds it hilarious that fellow Saints fans are hoping for the best. Which is a bit weird or he isn't as Saints fan)

The club and a lot of supporters are about 95% blamed for the recent demise because Glen Hoddle was not reappointed.

He left the Dr Who Club or whatever childish thing is was because 'it became popular' (this is all you need to know about his personality).

I told you so.....on virtually every single post

Regular visitors to this site know this very well. Can we know leave it at that please? It is so friggin' tiresome.

We know what Dalek thinks and predicts. We know that you being right is more important to you than Southampton FC being successful and we know you must work at a boardroom level at Southampton FC because you seem to know exactly what the the management and CEO think all the time.

And we all know that if you are correct on the team's dreadful demise in the coming twenty games that this forum will be a deserted wasteground because you will become unbearable...

What's more Dalek has been completely wrong on so many points but some how it is only because of some freakish circumstance. Coventry should have beaten Saints 3-0 but it was only the change in tactics and their woeful finishing in the first half that proved him wrong.

Well I don't know what's gonna happen, I don't know what the people who run the club are thinking and I can't predict the future. When I have opinions or views sometimes I am right and often I am wrong but do you know what that's okay I am at ease with that.

I'm tired, so very tired. I used to enjoy reading people's views on here and reading about the games and rumours and the jokes and so forth. I stopped subscribing a while ago and now I think my time of being a regular visitor is coming to an end.

It is not enjoyable and so depressing at times you'd have thought we were bottom of League 1.

Lighten up, it is a forum representing a wide range of views. 'Always look on the bright side of life'

Having said that, I think your post is very accurate and I have made the comments you describe, more or less. The Glenn Hoddle issue is the one that will eventually come to fore and yes, the fans did play a part in scuppering his return and did destabilise the club in a very serious way. I don't think I will ever drop this issue and keep a constant watch out for 'revisionists !

Try not to get everybodies backs up then with Glenn Hoddle and the number 17 and you will be accepted! FWIW, I wanted Hoddle back, but I got over it 9 years ago, and think NA is a breath of fresh air!!

I come in peace ! As the classic alien films always say !

Nixon the Journalist says Collins had a medical today and that we still will get a striker but are juggling some options.

As others have said (maybe nixon himself actually), it's odd that he's having a medical like this as loans often don't. Maybe some wires have got crossed and we're actually signing him on a perm?

A West Ham fan on 606 tonight reckoned that some bookies have cut the odds to this to evens.
Tevez's agent was on Talk Sport on Friday. He said a move to West Ham was impossible, despite Tevez having a soft spot for them. I wouldn't worry about him helping the Hammers beat us to the top spot!

Lol! & I'm sure he has little proper impact on the match or new signings. As long as he comes up with a catchy headline for our new superstar striker' date=' that's all he needs to worry about.[/quote']

Saints to jump through hoops for new striker or New saints striker provides the cutting edge!! There you go, he can take 2 days off now lol

Hope one of those is nearer the mark than "Window closes; Saints fans left with f^ck all to look at now".

Interesting interview with David Sullivan from WHU about the transfer window. I believe the other player who was born on the 5th Feb was Billy Sharp. They were really going **** or bust with Tevez/Torres!!!
