I really don't get our fans sometimes, Bart didn't do well today & I & others have made our thoughts clear on this, but to start another thread is tantamount to kicking the bloke whilst he's down. If you have a point to make why not post it on the other thread? If you genuinely wish to guage opinion, why not just go to the other thread & count for yourself.

What is it with some of our fans . A player has an off day and the lynch men come out in force. We're you one of the idiots who were telling Bart to go back to his own country . Those that were singing that need to take a hard look at yourselves .

Jesus Christ, seriously? I didn't hear that, but if it happened, those that did it should be ashamed of themselves. They are clearly not Saints fans.

Would like to see him loaned out to get proper match practice. Hopefully he will come back a much more confident and competent keeper. If not and he performs like Forecast in his loan spells, we'll know once and for all that he isn't going to be good enough.

I remember a few years ago he went out on loan when we were in L1, to Barnsley I think? Their fans raved about him and he pulled out some amazing performances.

I just think he feels too much pressure playing for us, like he has to make sure everything is perfect and take this chance etc - and he doesn't react properly to that. He's been dodgy in every game he's played this season for us.

It doesn't help when fans get on his back after 3 mins though. That was a nasty bit of handling, but he didn't deserve the abuse he was getting from people around me at that point. I don't think that sort of heckling is going to help an obviously nervous person.

Bart should stay. Kelv has moments where his critics come out like flies round sh1t, and to be honest who will we get who is better than Bart & yet is willing to sit on the bench for 95% of the season, without even reserves games to look forward to ? Unless we are going to look for a new #1, and demote KD to backup we shouild stick with what we have.

Our fans are quick to react aren't they. Was that the Northam or the Chapel today?

I'm really disappointed..I'm not anti - Bart but he's no longer the teenage kid who came to us and tried to fill in. He ought to have learned something since then, but today's "miss " really was as schoolboy error. Surely the first rule for a keeper is to get your whole body behind the ball and not try to pick up a ball with your legs wide apart!.

Although Blackpool are not a TOP team (at present) they were Prem. last year and I think I took the game more seriously than Adkins did.

With Kelvin injured- it was an ideal time for Bart to show his mettle. Sub-goalies are supposed to come in and play a blinder- at least they always do from others teams who we come up against. Of course it's not fair to "kick a man when he 's down " but today really was a low-water mark.

Watching Bart today was ...(sorry) a bit embarassing. He didn't take a clean catch and seemed to be in a bad state even before that classic bloomer of a miss.

It was clear that our defenders were more panicked by the thought of him getting the ball... than they were of Blackpool forwards.

I really hope that it was just a bad day ...because after that mistake which effectively cost us another win, ..if he has to play next weekend as well -and we don't win then...I'm afraid that a section of our fan base will forever be against him. Despite the fact that he hads been with us for ...4 years ?. On none of the occasions

he has been called upon... can I say that he has played even a good game.

Yes it's tough for to sit on the bench month after month but unless NA can turn him around ..I can see little future for him as a no.2 goalie in the CC ..let alone a potential Prem. player.

I really dispair of some fans - the guy had a shocker granted - but really, are all of these different threads really necessary.

Player low on confidence - the fans get straight on his back, tell him to go back to his own country and generally give him a hard time.

Top of the league - How much better could it get. Great set of fans.

The keeper I saw in the game at Kettering was spot on in the way he was shouting at the defenders - certainly no timid kid. Bart is not an option from what I saw today, but Jack Dovey is and at 19 he is not a kid, he's a young adult.

He could well be worth a shout, but perhaps Bart needs another run out or he may never recover his confidence. Tough call.

Bart's our number 2, and he will continue to be our number 2 until a replacement is brought in. He was shocking today, but that's not to say he'll never play again - if Kelvin doesn't play next week, Bart will - it's just our bottom holes that may suffer. Who knows - he might get MOTM.

He's just been on loan at Eastleigh and playing in their first team.

Jack Dovey has been at Eastleigh FC since the end of October and made an impressive start for the Blue Square South club. Making his debut at Thurrock Town, Dovey saved a penalty to immediatly shine, and the Spitfires haven’t lost in the four games he has played.

He's a Southampton lad and he's got to be a better option that Bialkowski.

I am ashamed of all those having a go at Bart. Rarely have we had a more loyal player who's stayed at the club playing second fiddle to Kelvin for so long. One off day and this is how so called Saints supporters treat the guy. I'm disgusted. :(

Loyal, or just content being on the bench and drawing a wage?

How is it that a GK who looked comfortable and composed against MancU in the cup, full house, live on tv can be such a nervous bumbling shambles today ?

For whatever reason that may be, I don't think we can afford to provide the therapy he needs to recover his form. For about two seasons now I hoped for a new GK to challenge KD, and possibly be his successor, that signing has not been made and today we paid the price.

I am a top goalkeeper but make mistakes from time to time, i would make more (mistakes per game ratio) if i played less and thats a fact!

The guy just needs a regular starting place either here or elsewhere, hes a good keeper imo

I'm not a top goalkeeper, never liked to play there. More of a forward or a RM .... but I agree with your reasoning 100%. He needs games to raise his confidence.

Watching the highlights from today it's obvious he had a complete mare. However, we all saw him last season when KD was out injured and he was absolutely fantastic. Until Kelv is back he's our best option, no doubt.

I do wish it was any game but the Skates next week considering the events of today, but i'm sure the coaching team will have a close eye on Bart in the week and will make sure that he's motivated and focused for the game.

If you are one of those shouting go back to where you come from, you really need your heads seeing to you cretinous little scumbags. And if anyone comes out with the it's just terrace banter line, well then fook off somewhere else with your odious banter.

I would so like to pummel the living shoite out of the t w a t s that come out with that cr a p. As you can tell, pretty fookin angry

Well he could never be as bad as this ever again. If he has a backbone he should be itching to get another opportunity to right the wrongs he constantly screwed up against Blackpool. Bloody hell there are some perfect people in this world, who it seems never get anything wrong. What a lifestyle to lead, must get boring.

This. ****ing mongs. He has one ****e game and people hang him out to dry. Cork's form has been woeful recently but I don't see people slagging him off.

This is all I can find:

Mong is short for 'mongoloid', which was originally an anachronistic term for a Down's Syndrome sufferer.

Is it really acceptable to use derogotory terms for people with disabilities?

I expect you use similar derogatory terms for people with different coloured skin, or maybe you are just a hypocrite. Which is it?
