Thanks Eric for the txt updates and commentary on the last 5 mins plus injury while I was on the way home in a taxi

As promised in the build up thread had the red & white on and also got us a mention on Sky Sports Golf coverage (cost me a beer)

Gutted to lose one record but keep the unbeaten run going, lots of problems to worry about with us though at the moment, but would take 4 points from today & nxt week.

Don't think it will happen though

Oh & Rory's Missus Caroline? Why???

Guess it's difficult to come in and play great after 2 years out, but he always looks a bit fragile when he starts. Didn't close them down enough and 3 cm's still doesn't look right.

Don't think Holloway likes me, post match rant in my direction every time he comes! This time "Five *duckin* minutes? *Duck* off you *runt*"

I thought it would be 4 mins to be fair, not like we scored on the 95th minute anyway

Bart had a schocker. Lets hope KD is fit next week, or that Bart gets the flu and we get a loan in.

SDR was worse, terrible decision making, and awful crosiing.

92.30-ish on the clock when we scored I think... nothing wrong with that at all. Holloway goes further down in my estimation...

Add on the sub before that which took ages to restart as well. I usually like him but seems very bitter towards us

Disappointing to lose the winning record, but it was going to come eventually. I thought we should have been a couple up in the first half, we created some brilliant chances and when Rickie was through I thought 2 for sure....good save though to be fair.

After the break we didn't look the same team, and that mistake by bart was just horrendous. I'm frustrated for him, he waits so long for his chances yet he's always dodgy. He's an incredibly nervous keeper and I think his time is up with us. He'll be a cracking keeper at a club where he's playing regular, but he's used too few and far between here to gain any sort of confidence. He looked like he was made of jelly all match, and you felt that if they hit a shot like that he'd do something like that.

We didn't work their keeper enough in the 2nd half, alot of possession but very little punch or energy in the final third - that's where we miss Chappers drive. The 3 midfielders we had in there are all pretty much the same type of player, safe, sideways, backwards....no real penetration from the middle, and that's where we struggled. SDR just flatters to deceive for me, never really does anything other than turn around in circles and make the wrong decisions.

We never gave up though, and that's what a run we've been on gives you....great cross to Lambo and he's scored so many from that position this season - you knew it was in as soon as the ball came to his head.

Our performances have been dipping slowly, as to be expected, but with our performances away from home being as they are it was eventually going to hang over on our home form. Next week is the perfect opportunity to put that right...

Despite the protestations, arguably it was indeed some of the decision making in the final third, and the occasional lack of communication (Guly/Hammond getting in each others way for a clear header on goal for example) that actually cost us two points today. Bart's mistake obviously contributed but we had chances to win today and it's a team game, so things like SDR's 'decision' in that last minute should be highlighted by Adkins every bit as much as any individual mistake.

Predicted 1-1 just had a feeling during week, they have some experienced players who know how to raise their game.

We have a lost our way a bit and the Derby game next week is an ideal time to get it back 3-1 Saints

Bang on Minty - SDR's pathetic attempt at a pass when he was clean through in the last minute cost us the three points as much as Bart's howler! What a time that would have been to score the winner. I was at the game so haven't seen Holloway interviewed but I woulld have loved to have beaten his side. Every time we had a player clean through he was fouled and when they went ahead they wasted time. The ref was next to useless so all in all, a point was about as good as we were going to get. Keep the fiath!

SDR's chance at the end was golden, he only had to lay it across the box and we had 3 players at the back post ready for a tap in.

Fuming that De Ridder ****ed that chance up at the end. That is why he doesn't start.

Yeah, and while we have carried Lallana slightly (I don't think he's been as bad as being made out, perhaps compared to his usual very high standards), he would have squared that ball no problem, and that's why he needs to always be on the pitch.

We were not at our best today had a feeling from the moment Bart spilt a shot in the first 5 mins it was going to be one of them days at least Reading have done us a favour.

Well, we've had a bad day, our lead at the top of the table was only extended to three points, and we're only unbeaten at home in the league for more than a year now...

Jeez, feeling a heck of a lot better now!

West Ham meanwhile, must be feeling pretty awful!

Amazing. You play crap and still increase your lead at the top.

Not so sure that we did play crap, end product was a bit lacking that's all.

Blackpool are a hard side to beat, didn't they beat Reading last week? Reading didn't look like mugs to me today.

Np way did we play crap. We deserved to win. Bart made defence look shaky. We had 20 shot to their 8 and more possesion.

Final ball was poor I would say.

good game, shocker of a goal to let in but oh well. great response and to come back and get the draw. normally find adkins a bit annoying in post match interviews, feel like we rarely get a lot of truth behind the cliches, but he was honest today and you should watch the last 40 seconds alone to hear him talk about next sunday, him speaking makes me so much more confident!

Yes Bartosz looked very weak in goal. My bigger worry was how different we looked against the way we were playing early in the season. Our passing was extremely sloppy and we seemed determined to sling aimless crosses into the box, probably because there wasn't much movement. Guly and Lambert were excellent but we surely need another option up top. I personally don't feel the balance of the midfield is at all right at the moment either. Playing a CM out of position doesnt seem to be working and Lallana seems very much off the boil too. Wouldn't mind giving Holmes a start.

Couldn't agree more Saints foreva - shocking piece of play which showed how average SDR really is. Please Mr Adkins, Holmes is so much better - give him a chance!!

We didn't play crap, we played some good stuff in a decent game and the two goalkeepers made the difference, theirs saved a point while ours gifted one.

We deserved the win I reckon. We weren't "crap" as some suggest. The only reason they scored 2 was us having two absolute defensive clangers. Shouldn't have let them cross, and of course Bart should've saved comfortably.

Just lacked the killer decision, pass and finish. Schneiderlin skying it from 5 yards underlines that. If you look at how many shots we had i dont think anyone can say we played "crap". The revival has begun from our recent dip in form, IMO.

for the fourth game in a row we carried Lallana.

As biased as i am towards Adam i find this statement a little bit over the top,he played pretty well when given the ball but see it very seldom. As i said on the match thread earlier fox was hoofing it forward missing out the midfield thus leaving Adam picking up scraps.I await window cleaner to knock me back as he has been slowly getting a head of steam over this subject the last couple of weeks, brings back memories of two seasons ago LOL

The front two saved us today. Rickie and Guly both did well, particularly the latter. He does tend to blow hot and cold but his work rate was excellent and it was notable that he was the one charging after the ball in the last ten minutes, looking for any opportunity to create a chance. Rickie showed his value once again. He really is becoming a Le Tissier-esque talisman. Kelvin must have mixed emotions today. His importance to us after an incredibly nervy performance from Bart has been shown, but I remember about six years ago against Preston he made a similar mistake to Bart's one today, and people absolutely slaughtered him for it, but he's now on the verge of 250 appearances. Bart will rightly get criticised, but writing him off is the wrong thing to do. He'll earn some sympathy from Kelvin, certainly. Blackpool deserved their point though and, ultimately, we've actually gained a point today on the team in second. The home wins run couldn't go on indefinitely and we need to keep showing faith, and hoping that Nigel has a couple of good transfer targets for January, as we do need them. He knows more about football than anyone who posts on this board and if he's backed, then we can maintain our standing as genuine contenders.

I only saw the last 20 mins or so because I didn't know about the early kick off. We didn't look crap for that period of time at least. Not our best that I've seen so far, but not crap.

I wouldn't ever say a player had a good or bad game until I've seen enough of it to decide for myself.

I'll have to wait for the full 90 .Don't do streams because I can't hack the girly and betting adverts that always go with them.
