Window Cleaner Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Bart sounds really rattled, not enough game time I suppose.
DG Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Bloody hell almost two, our defence/GK look very shaky. Could be a 4-4 game.
Mattio Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 I think blackstock was better in goal than Bart is today...
St Chalet Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Phillips hits post, Bart rooted. Free-kick, Lambo territory.
mulletsaint Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Can't understand how we can have CM's on today and yet no protection for the back four. Hammond's been a passenger. Going forward, if the final ball had been better we could have had four. Final ball for our goal wasn't good either.
Rowan Gorilla 5 Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Would people please stop banging on about Bialkowski being brilliant and deserving his chance and being good enough to take over from Davis as he is obviously so vastly superior. He quite clearly isn't and hasn't been since he injured his knee against Newcastle all those years ago. We need to get shot of Bialkowski and Forecast and get in at least 1 top keeper if not during the transfer window then during the Summer.
St Chalet Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Unbeaten in the last 55 when we have taken the lead?
saints-cris Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Seems to be a huge gap between defence and midfield. Stop Phillips running and thats half the job done! If we tighten up I'm sure we'll be fine
niceandfriendly Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 playin quie well. shame i'm usin a keyoad which is missin some keys. doh.
DT Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Being outplayed in middle. Cork needs to get into the game more. Miss Chaplow hugely. Bart - wtf? Need tactical change from Nigel or we'll lose this one. They're pretty good.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 another test of charecter but we will do it!
Minty Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Blackpool are the first side I've seen who are close to our ability to pass the ball... when a team does it well, it is very difficult to defend against and so the game is quite open. Interesting one to watch for the neutral.
forever a red and white Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Seems to be a huge gap between defence and midfield. Stop Phillips running and thats half the job done! If we tighten up I'm sure we'll be fine The gap is exactly what appeared for their goal. The pressing game is fine but the defence must push-up as well, otehrwise we leave gaps, and the consequences are there to see. Still though, cracking game.
Cascadia Saint Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Watching the game on foxsoccer.tv in the states, and during the ad break you can hear the guys in the studio going over their lines and watching highlights....

Agree we need new keeper but bit unfair to castigate Bart quite so much on an admittedly shaky 45 minutes. Our midfield is more concerning. Powder puff.
Jonnyboy Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Gutted about their goal, we were so on top of them, Hammond shouldve released earlier as Guly was clean through. Keeping the faith for the 2nd half, COYR!
Clapham Saint Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Is it just me or do we seem reluctant to shoot? It seems that the players would rather touch the ball out for somebody else than have a crack themselves

Interesting one to watch for the neutral. They'll be knackered in the second half…. but watch for the Super Kev substitution to change the game. We need to batter them early!
alpine_saint Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Just logged on, didnt realise we were playing early today. Whats happened to Kelvin Davis then ?
Minsk Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 I predicted a 3-1 win and still that way, but Bart is scaring the crap out of me!!!
DT Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Why are we letting them run at us half the length of the pitch?
Saint Without a Halo Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Why are we letting them run at us half the length of the pitch? Because we are missing Chappers who is the only one to get stuck in and break up play!
Mattio Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Just logged on, didnt realise we were playing early today. Whats happened to Kelvin Davis then ?Calf Injury
THEVMAN Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Watching the game please someone tell Fox to stop playing so many long hopeful balls to no one and play it to AL's feet and get him more in the game,he's not seeing enough of the ball to much hoofball
Rowan Gorilla 5 Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Agree we need new keeper but bit unfair to castigate Bart quite so much on an admittedly shaky 45 minutes. Our midfield is more concerning. Powder puff. My opinion is not based on these 45 minutes but on how he has played over the last few years. I swear people are still judging him on that superb run of games when he was a nipper. He hasn't shown anything like that form since. This game he has been awful. And some moan about Davis! I agree that we are giving them too much time and space when they have the ball.
Webby Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 We need to press more and pass better if we're going to win this game. Watch out for kevin Phillips!
Jonnyboy Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 THe crowd needs to support Bart, the goal wasnt his fault and we need him to show his worth 2nd half.
Window Cleaner Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 THe crowd needs to support Bart, the goal wasnt his fault and we need him to show his worth 2nd half. want to review that ??
Cascadia Saint Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Right. Bart has looked like a ***t all day. WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON WITH HIM????????? He looks like an outfield player in there. On drugs.
DG Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 The traditional right after second half goal. Glaring mistake after giving the ball away. Time to put FR in goal?
Saint Without a Halo Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Does this remind you of the Le Tiss gaol at Man U! Bart is a bag of nerves
dune Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 WTF is that Polish tw/t doing on a football pitch............. un f/cking believable
Minty Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 want to review that ?? He needs support now more than ever. Getting on his back won't help us get back into the game.
Jonnyboy Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 THe crowd needs to support Bart, the goal wasnt his fault and we need him to show his worth 2nd half. That Bart is a pr1ck!
Saint Without a Halo Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Ok put Richardson in Goal he can hardly be worse
DG Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 For the love of god please let KD be fit for next week.
Alain Perrin Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Poor guy. Bad day at the office - pity he can't go home early, but it's not an option. Hang in there for the rest of the 90.
Window Cleaner Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Well I hope Kelv is back to fitness for next Sunday cos Bart at Nottarf....well doesn't bear thinking about. I thought he was an OK keeper but lack of match practice has obviously changed that.
Bobbyboy Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 It's not often you get to see the exact MOMENT someone's career ends...
DT Posted 10 December, 2011 Posted 10 December, 2011 Scary how slow he was to turn and try to retrieve the ball. Pub player.
