Nexstar Posted 30 October, 2008 Posted 30 October, 2008 350 Tickets sold. Will be my second away game, who else is going?
Saint_Jonny Posted 30 October, 2008 Posted 30 October, 2008 not after making the trip on a cold wet tuesday night last year, only to be humilated losing 5-1, and then having to stay with a family of preston fans. **** hole.
Evil Monkey Posted 30 October, 2008 Posted 30 October, 2008 I'll be there. Cant wait. Any good pubs near the ground?
Saint_Jonny Posted 30 October, 2008 Posted 30 October, 2008 I remember going in one called "army and navy" that seemed friendly enough, felt more like a living room than a pub tho, apart from that deepdale isnt all that far from the town centre.
Andy_Porter Posted 30 October, 2008 Posted 30 October, 2008 Suprised we've sold 350 considering the next three aways are Reading, Charlton and Palace.

badgerx16 Posted 30 October, 2008 Posted 30 October, 2008 Will decide on the day, but currently the likelihood is yes I will go.
sfc6mufc3 Posted 30 October, 2008 Posted 30 October, 2008 from bbc website Terrific!!!!! Southampton will be without midfielder Adam Lallana (ankle) while Andrew Surman faces a late fitness test. There is also a sickness bug sweeping the Saints camp, with Chris Perry, Joseph Mills and Tomas Pekhart all suffering with illness. Loan signing Alex Pearce is likely to start on the bench. Preston team news to follow later.

St Marco Posted 30 October, 2008 Posted 30 October, 2008 Will not be going this year. Last year was bad and while i think the result will be much better then that game i just can't be arsed. The Swansea game has put me right off away games for now.
Appy Posted 30 October, 2008 Posted 30 October, 2008 Money too tight for this, if i want to go to the next 3 which i will not miss.
Iowsaintsfan Posted 30 October, 2008 Posted 30 October, 2008 Got to work this weekend or would have gone going to try and do 2 of the next 3 though
La BoIS Saint Posted 30 October, 2008 Posted 30 October, 2008 Travelling up to Lancaster with London Saints tomorrow evening. I think there's 12 or so of us, maybe more.
Chez Posted 30 October, 2008 Posted 30 October, 2008 Evil Monkey said: I'll be there. Cant wait. Any good pubs near the ground? There is a decent pub a short walk away from the ground. I think its called The Sumners. You can park there too. You could also get there early and check out the football Museum which is right next to the ground.
Ash Posted 30 October, 2008 Posted 30 October, 2008 I'll be there plus one, my last away day of the year due to stupid work commitments Has anyone been to the football museum at Deepdale? Is it worth getting to the ground early for?
This Charming Man Posted 31 October, 2008 Posted 31 October, 2008 350 sold - lol I'll be there, spending the Saturday night in the cultural melting pot that is Blackpool...

bungle Posted 31 October, 2008 Posted 31 October, 2008 Haven't got a ticket yet, but will more than likely go.
tpbury Posted 31 October, 2008 Posted 31 October, 2008 My first game (normally make 1 game per season!) Will be there with brother and our respective sons. Fairly sure this will make them end up ManU fans.
AndyNorthernSaints Posted 31 October, 2008 Posted 31 October, 2008 I'm going. Looking forward to the day out and pre match beer to numb the pain before 3pm.

Neilza Posted 31 October, 2008 Posted 31 October, 2008 Will be my first trip to Preston, hoping that it doesn't put me off for life!
