Window Cleaner Posted 7 December, 2011 Share Posted 7 December, 2011 We all need to wear red and white for this one We always need to wear Red and White because I don't think we've been particularly successful with the yellow shirt this season.Barnsley would be the only win with the yellow I think? Patrick Bateman Posted 7 December, 2011 Share Posted 7 December, 2011 Am going to be at the Pompey game in a week n 5 days and am just debating in my head whether to risk wearing my Shirt and have more chance of getting beaten up Or not wear my Shirt and wear another red shirt to hopefully not get beaten up!?! Your thoughts for this would Greatly Help!?! Thanks! COYR !!! What? You are being escorted from Southampton, to the ground , on a coach, with no danger of being anywhere near any Skates - so just who the hell is going to duff you up? The coach driver? The steward on the coach? Or any Saints fans? I really do utterly dispair of some of our fanbase. And if you normally enjoy looking like a fat deckchair at football matches, then why wouldn't you wear your shirt anyway?? Jesus.
Patrick Bateman Posted 7 December, 2011 Share Posted 7 December, 2011 So I am now starting to come to the conclusion that I will now Wear my Shirt with Pride like I normally do at the home and away games I go too!!! Exactly - seriously, nothing will happen on that day, where what the hell you like and have fun!!
ericofarabia Posted 7 December, 2011 Share Posted 7 December, 2011 Exactly - seriously, nothing will happen on that day, where what the hell you like and have fun!! Tut Tut Patrick ..... TijuanaTim Posted 7 December, 2011 Share Posted 7 December, 2011 Pull y'self together FFS...with a shirt on and going as a shirter no self respectly thug will even give you a second glance, therefore pretty well enhancing your safety bubble (unless of course you are hurt if someone calls you a name) . If your wetting your undies then be sure not to wear SI, CP, Prada, Aquscutum etc etc Am going to be at the Pompey game in a week n 5 days and am just debating in my head whether to risk wearing my Shirt and have more chance of getting beaten up Or not wear my Shirt and wear another red shirt to hopefully not get beaten up!?! Your thoughts for this would Greatly Help!?! Thanks! COYR !!! If any Skates manage to get within 100 yards of you outside the ground to "beat you up" the whole point of the massively annoying "bubble" will be a complete farce. If there's one thing that being forced to go to a game in a protective cordon should be able to guarantee, it's your safety.

dune Posted 7 December, 2011 Share Posted 7 December, 2011 The only danger is being hit on the head with a coin. When it hailed there the coins were flying back and forth. Cheap skates (no pun intended) only went as high as 20p's though (i pocketed a couple).

The Bubble doesn't really do you any favours at all does it? Puts you in a situation of being in Skateland hours before and after the game. Maybe they will allocate a personal protection officer to you. Wonder what their stance would be if you were unfortunate enough to be on a train on your way home hours after the game, and a group of p!ssed off Skates fresh from wrecking their city (again) sussed out that you weren't a skate because you weren't wearing Primark Gear, weren't covered in Tats, only had 4 fingers and a thumb without webbing on each hand, and had an unmoveable cheshire cat grin on your boat race, and gave you a slapping? Any good Lawyers on here?

Macey_J2 Posted 7 December, 2011 Share Posted 7 December, 2011 It wont make a difference if you're wearing a saints shirt or not, its likely to be under afew more layers! Anyone who turns up in mid december in JUST a football shirt on top is far more nawwty than any of the 'wannabe football casual ard man' types in their stone island coats who give it the big i am on here. They're 'ard, but only when they're not catching a chill!

saintscottofthenortham Posted 7 December, 2011 Share Posted 7 December, 2011 Harsh my friend, very harsh. Have you met Danny? If not then could I politely ask you to reserve your opinion until you have? I have met Danny on many occasions and I reckon he's a great lad and as staunch a Saints fan as any of us on here. Thank you for your understanding response LGTL. Danny is one courageous fella who has suffered a lot of tribulations in his life. As you say and I have found, he's always smiling, and positive? Well he defines it. I'm proud to know him. Awww Thanks EastleighSoulBoy for that Mate and I also feel the same about you as I am also am Proud to call you a Friend and who now knows the stuff that I have been threw as well!!!
