Ivan Katalinic's 'tache Posted 5 December, 2011 Share Posted 5 December, 2011 He's team captain, of course he's going to tow the party line. A good thing too, IMO, as if the players showed public concern then it could affect the mood at home too.

Dig Dig Posted 5 December, 2011 Share Posted 5 December, 2011 It's good that our players have more bottle and perspective than half on here do or we would have no chance

Super_Uwe Posted 5 December, 2011 Share Posted 5 December, 2011 Wow, the return of the Monday morning Claus by-line. I thought these days were long gone. Sadly I was mistaken... To be fair though, that was when we were truly s**** and stuck at the bottom of the league (or farting around in the Championship under GB's reign)... Saint_clark Posted 5 December, 2011 Share Posted 5 December, 2011 Wow, the return of the Monday morning Claus by-line. I thought these days were long gone. Sadly I was mistaken... You do realise there is ALWAYS a player interview on the OS a couple of days after a game, right?
mancsaint Posted 5 December, 2011 Share Posted 5 December, 2011 I thought he sounded just a tad annoyed with the questions, sort of "here we go again, this is boring and a chore" Just how he came across to me.....shrug.
Sour Mash Posted 5 December, 2011 Share Posted 5 December, 2011 I thought he sounded just a tad annoyed with the questions, sort of "here we go again, this is boring and a chore" Just how he came across to me.....shrug. Same. Wasn't exactly a "happy", positive interview. Hammond's form hasn't been amazing last few months, could well be playing at the back of his mind as well. Turkish Posted 5 December, 2011 Share Posted 5 December, 2011 I'm just concearned as to why he didn't give all credit to the chairman for his work behind the scenes to give us such confidence on the road.
toofarnorth Posted 5 December, 2011 Share Posted 5 December, 2011 Positive mental attitude. Good to see the players aren't fazed.
VectisSaint Posted 5 December, 2011 Share Posted 5 December, 2011 Aha, the usual suspects emerge from the woodwork to turn anything negative. Of course Hammond should have come out and said what a load of tosh we are, that we are not good enough and will be lucky to finish 17th this season, but no he comes out with some rational positivity and the wrist-slitters pile in. God, this forum is becoming so predictable and boring. Really wonder what some on here actually expect and if they have any vague understanding of motivation, positivity or even football, because if they do they hide it bloody well.
