alpine_saint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 lol @ pboro, they just don't know when they've been beaten. Why "lol" ?? I think it engenders a lot of respect, and it something we could learn from.
badgerx16 Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Spudgun, did you know your avatar has been copied ?
Lighthouse Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Why have you left out our league wins and made Coventry sound like a loss? Yes, we came back to win against Coventry, but they were dreadful and we did throw away a 2-0 lead. This is our form since we lost our first game away to Leicester. Yes we won our first 2 away games of the season, but that scarecely seems relevant after 1 win in our last 7.
S-Clarke Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 It's all doncaster at the moment. Looks like we're hopefully going back to some width, Holmes and Barnard on.
Saint_clark Posted 3 December, 2011 Author Posted 3 December, 2011 Why "lol" ?? I think it engenders a lot of respect, and it something we could learn from. I cannot even begin to take this comment seriously.
Toadhall Saint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 How can people possibly say that we are not title contenders when, even if scores stay the same, we are top of the league? Barmy tbh
alpine_saint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 How can people possibly say that we are not title contenders when, even if scores stay the same, we are top of the league? 1. They wont stay the same. WHU will get a winner. 2. Even if they dont, its a hairs breadth in it now. How can you possibly take comfort over league position against our oss of form and crap away form in general ??
Viking Warrior Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Come on saints score two goals > I really want you to shut up the troll
S-Clarke Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 1. They wont stay the same. WHU will get a winner. 2. Even if they dont, its a hairs breadth in it now. How can you possibly take comfort over league position against our oss of form and crap away form in general ?? I think, based on where we've come from and how we were fared to do this year, that we're in an extraordinary position.
alpine_saint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 I cannot even begin to take this comment seriously. Really ? do a refresh on that game. When did we last come back from 2 down ??
Saintandy666 Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 1. They wont stay the same. WHU will get a winner. 2. Even if they dont, its a hairs breadth in it now. How can you possibly take comfort over league position against our oss of form and crap away form in general ?? Well, 3 out of the next 4 are at home
gammon cheeks Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Been saying for ages we have no squad depth. Exactly.
Saint_clark Posted 3 December, 2011 Author Posted 3 December, 2011 1. They wont stay the same. WHU will get a winner. 2. Even if they dont, its a hairs breadth in it now. How can you possibly take comfort over league position against our oss of form and crap away form in general ?? Even if they win then we are 1 point off top spot and 8 points clear of 3rd. WTF is wrong with you lot.
Rasiak-9- Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 1. They wont stay the same. WHU will get a winner. 2. Even if they dont, its a hairs breadth in it now. How can you possibly take comfort over league position against our oss of form and crap away form in general ?? Plus we're relying on a 100% record at home, which simply WILL NOT last for the whole season. Don't get me wrong if you could garuntee us a perfect 23 at home then yeah happy days we'll only need the odd point here and there away to go up - but it goes without saying things won't last that long
alpine_saint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 I think, based on where we've come from and how we were fared to do this year, that we're in an extraordinary position. I do too. Even the more infuriating that we are in the process of chucking it away

Don't get me wrong if you could garuntee us a perfect 23 at home then yeah happy days we'll only need the odd point here and there away to go up - but it goes without saying things won't last that long Huddersfield went for what, 40+ games unbeaten? Who would have thought that would last when they were 10-20 games unbeaten?
S-Clarke Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 I do too. Even the more infuriating that we are in the process of chucking it away We're not though are we. We're just having that slump we were always going to have, and injuries we were always going to encounter. As long as we're still in the race in January then we'll push on.
alpine_saint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Well, 3 out of the next 4 are at home Which means the way we are going, that our record is going to come to an end pretty soon. Our home form is about all we have left at the moment.
latter day saint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Phew ! off side after all that ! thanks taters ! FFS !
Saint_clark Posted 3 December, 2011 Author Posted 3 December, 2011 West Ham are losing. At Home. To Burnley.
Gigersaint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Get in burnley, now come Saints let's turn this game around!
S-Clarke Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 West ham are losing... we need to get something to make this a pretty good day!!!!
HarvSFC Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Fox sounds like he's having a terrible game, any need to change Harding from Tuesday?
Winchester Red Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 West Ham are sure to score..... oh, 2-1 Burnley
Legod Third Coming Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 I do too. Even the more infuriating that we are in the process of chucking it away As are West Ham so calm down.
jasonb Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 COME THE F*** ON!!!! A draw from here looks like a right result! Hammers losing now
Roger Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Huddersfield went for what, 40+ games unbeaten? Who would have thought that would last when they were 10-20 games unbeaten? We have done great this season however today and last week are very poor, one defeat I can take but todays not good enough and shows how much we rely on lambert.
Window Cleaner Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Burnley 2-1 up An equaliser for us would be handy if Burnley can hold on to that then.
Saintandy666 Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Which means the way we are going, that our record is going to come to an end pretty soon. Our home form is about all we have left at the moment. Well, no... poor away form doesn't suddenly mean bad home form. Our home form and play(mostly) has remained consistent throughout the year however bad or good we have played away. Trust me, I'm a season ticket holder.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 peterboro comeback from 3 down we need to come back from 1
Saint_clark Posted 3 December, 2011 Author Posted 3 December, 2011 Fox sounds like he's having a terrible game, any need to change Harding from Tuesday? No he doesn't. Harding only played because Fox was injured. No idea what people have got against Fox, he is a much better all round player than Harding.
