Saintandy666 Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Ha, of course it was Billy Sharp. If we had just bought every player we were rumoured to be buying, then we'd win every game. Mainly because no players would remain for anyone else!!!
S-Clarke Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Apparently we made too many changes...I count two, both down to injury. They were poss on about the 2nd half tactical change? Which tbf sounds like a cockup.
patred44 Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 corner donny. We need to keep this quiet for 5mins or so, their tales are up. positional changes at halftime he means
badgerx16 Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Jeez, there's some bloody miserable folk about, and most of them seem to be on here this afternoon.
Saint_clark Posted 3 December, 2011 Author Posted 3 December, 2011 They were poss on about the 2nd half tactical change? Which tbf sounds like a cockup. I missed the start of the second half, has anything really changed?
Window Cleaner Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Sounds like Morgan and Guly are taking on Donny all by themselves.
saint michael Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 get Barnard on up front with guly and get de ridder on the wing Nigel
S-Clarke Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 I missed the start of the second half, has anything really changed? Yeh, 3 man midfield - taken away the width. They've got Lallana playing in behind Guly and SDR. Not sure why a big change was needed, as the first half was fine bar the lack of a goal.
Colinjb Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 17th looking more realistic ? [Clarkson] F@ck off and die[/Clarkson] - For reassurance.
DrunkenSaint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 i told friends we'll lose this today cause i dont get this formation lark, we need width it worked for a while but now we have been found out.
mulletsaint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Incoming Alpine Posts . You mean you missed his earlier ones?
Legod Third Coming Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 All we have to do is get the ball down and pass it confidently like we do at home and we will win every game.
Lighthouse Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 How can we be so bad away from home? Bristol - Lost, terrible Coventry - Threw it away at 2-0 up Reading - Drew, completely out played Palace - Only our reserves, but still awful Derby - Drew Cardiff - Lost. Didn't turn up for 70 mins Burnley - Drew. Didn't turn up for 70 mins. Swindon - Won. Leicester - Lost. Didn't turn up until half time.
Saint_clark Posted 3 December, 2011 Author Posted 3 December, 2011 yep, we've blown it. You're talking about the league, aren't you?
Saint Without a Halo Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 One slip up to the relegation candidates is acceptable just but two shows we will have learnt nothing so the next 30 mins are a key tester!
brightspark Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Meh, losing at Bristol City was excusable, but losing at Doncaster as well wouldn't exactly seem....... convincing

alpine_saint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Been saying for ages we have no squad depth.
itchen Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Jeez, there's some bloody miserable folk about, and most of them seem to be on here this afternoon. There will be more if we end up losing. Be fair, they haven't had much chance so far this season.
Dalek2003 Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 How can we be so bad away from home? Bristol - Lost, terrible Coventry - Threw it away at 2-0 up Reading - Drew, completely out played Palace - Only our reserves, but still awful Derby - Drew Cardiff - Lost. We rely on a relatively small amount of players who are increasingly getting tired. We didn't strengthen properly over the summer. It will cost us promotion.

There isn't really any other way to dress it up, our away form has been utter pants. Performance wise we've been ok in a fair few of the game, but we've started recently to turn in real **** displays away. TBF this is probably our slump which we were going to have as we got injuries. At least we got ourselves into a good position to have this slump!
alpine_saint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 There will be more if we end up losing. Be fair, they haven't had much chance so far this season. How does that make our comments invalid ?
Spudders Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 [Clarkson] F@ck off and die[/Clarkson] - For reassurance. mods, this is offensive, how do I complain?
saint_disco123 Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 damn you billy! you should of come to us!
alpine_saint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 We rely on a relatively small amount of players who are increasingly getting tired. We didn't strengthen properly over the summer. It will cost us promotion. This.
Winchester Red Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Alpine - You have been saying a lot of stuff for ages..... all of it utter sh1t
Colinjb Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 I've got to stop watching for our results in this pub. Never... ever had a good one.
Minty Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 lol at some of you lot. Come on Saints, dig in and turn it around. I believe.
Saint Without a Halo Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Sharp and Maynard looks like we should have signed one of them!
alpine_saint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Alpine - You have been saying a lot of stuff for ages..... all of it utter sh1t if it makes you feel better.
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Been saying for ages we have no squad depth. It's not that, we're just not as good as people think we are, and especially away from home.
Born In The 80s Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Almost too predictable i'm afraid. Away from home we're an average mid-table team. At least the bookies still haven't cottoned on to this. I'm due a great return at the min - Donny to win and sharp to score.
Dalek2003 Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 BTW I am not miserable as I am sure we will achieve our objective of consolidating our place in this league.
Legod Third Coming Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 If we need a goal, why don't we have the second top scorer from last season on the pitch?
Lazlo78 Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Why have you left out our league wins and made Coventry sound like a loss? Added drama, I presume...
Stepgar Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 As i write this is why we wont win the league. These are the games that title contenders win. Simple.
Dalek2003 Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Sharp and Maynard looks like we should have signed one of them! Depends how ambitious we were. The current squad should be more than enough for mid table finish.
S-Clarke Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 Peterborough 2 Barnsley 3 lol @ pboro, they just don't know when they've been beaten.

Saint_clark Posted 3 December, 2011 Author Posted 3 December, 2011 How can people possibly say that we are not title contenders when, even if scores stay the same, we are top of the league?
