doddisalegend Posted 2 December, 2011 Share Posted 2 December, 2011 .........literally if these stats on the football league website are true http://www.football-league.co.uk/features/20111202/stat-attack-discipline_2293307_2534817 Seems the dirtest teams in the league are Pompey and Brighton
jam Posted 2 December, 2011 Share Posted 2 December, 2011 Brings to mind a Clotteril gem from earlier in the season when he was still manager down the road. While bemoaning yet another red card, the Solent interviewer challenged him with the fact that Portsmouth had the worst disciplinary record in the division. His response? [in a voice to suggest the entire world had it in for them] 'Well, what does that tell you?'... Comedy genius. He should have a tv series.
niceandfriendly Posted 2 December, 2011 Share Posted 2 December, 2011 (edited) "Fratton Park is arguably one of the fiercest grounds to visit in The Football League renowned for its ferocious atmosphere generated by some of the most devout fans." Quite staggering how this myth still gets bandied around willy-nilly. I will not, have her tunnel, bandied around willy-nilly. Funny how the devouted seem to get fewer by the week (though I'm sure they'll all crawl out of the wood work for their cup final). Still you can't really argue that nob head with the bell isn't devouted though personally I'm glad we don't have any fans that devouted at saints....... Could have been more! Will be interesting to see how pompey fare.
jasoneuelllfanclub Posted 2 December, 2011 Share Posted 2 December, 2011 they will try and drag us down with their dirty antics during the game as they know they cant compete with us from a footballing level. It will be paramount that we treat them like any other opposition otherwise we will play into there hands. We already work extremely hard as a team and play with immense passion so all we need to do is concentrate on our free flowing style which will reap its awards. Though if pompey can see their way to getting a couple sent off I won't complain. Actually I'd love to see Rickie bang in a penlty at fratton even sweeter if it's a badly given one like Fonte's against Brighton. The look on the blues fews face would be worth it...... mesaint Posted 2 December, 2011 Share Posted 2 December, 2011 After that decision i'd be suprised if we get another pen all season, every time there's a shout the ref will go, na, teyt got one they shouldn't have the other day so they can go without this one to make up for it. Toomer Posted 2 December, 2011 Share Posted 2 December, 2011 Few more red cards before we play them or even a red card for the club.
dune Posted 2 December, 2011 Share Posted 2 December, 2011 We are big enough and strong enough to cope with these tactics.
Mattio Posted 3 December, 2011 Share Posted 3 December, 2011 I've got a horrible feeling they're going to end up breaking RL or AL's leg in this match...
The9 Posted 3 December, 2011 Share Posted 3 December, 2011 It's, not really news that Brighton and Cheats are dirty, they've been top of the card charts all season. Also, you have to catch us to kick us.
