saintscottofthenortham Posted 2 December, 2011 Posted 2 December, 2011 http://ffsp.railwayinn.me.uk/ Scott Mills knows not a thing about football, but is from the area yes. Same goes for Chris Packham. My old man was best friends with him all through school, and why dad and the rest of the lads were playing footy in the fields Chris Packham would be in the roughage hunting down foxes and birdwatching.
suewhistle Posted 2 December, 2011 Posted 2 December, 2011 Yep, I remember John Denham and alan Whitehead from my uni years. Watched AW play against my friend's team in intra-mural football, and he was a competent but dirty player IIRC. Not sure why I remember that, or the fact that the team was the International Socialist one called Red Star. The stupid things that stick in your mind...
The Majestic Channon Posted 2 December, 2011 Posted 2 December, 2011 I remember roy kinnear walking around the dell pitch before a game late 70's , pretty sure he was a saints fan.
Supersubpuckett Posted 2 December, 2011 Posted 2 December, 2011 Benny Hill was from Southampton so I reckon we can count him. The Men They Couldn't Hang (not so famous now but still going) were from Southampton too. Were they?? Blimey, saw them at uni (poly) a few times in the very early 90s - thought they were a bunch of northern scumbags.
derry Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 David Frost, Andrew Lloyd Webber, but I wouldn't have classed them as fans.
Saint Posted 3 December, 2011 Posted 3 December, 2011 The guy from Pointless, not Alexander Armstrong but the guy behind the desk did say he was a Saints fan on the show.
John Cool Posted 5 December, 2011 Posted 5 December, 2011 On a recent Pointless where the contestants had to think of the most obscure football team end part of name (e.g. united, city) when someone said "Albion", Richard Osman implied he was a Brighton fan, which is supported by this http://www.northstandchat.com/showthread.php?213162-Did-you-know-our-quot-Pointless-Friend-quot-..... Maybe he supports both teams (and Fulham too according to Wikipedia)?
krissyboy31 Posted 5 December, 2011 Posted 5 December, 2011 Seeing that picture makes me think that 12,000 of the blue few in Nottarf Krap isn't that bad really. Who in their right mind would want to sit in that cesspit with TCWTB?

My old man was best friends with him all through school, and why dad and the rest of the lads were playing footy in the fields Chris Packham would be in the roughage hunting down foxes and birdwatching. Chris Packham, at least up until a few years ago, had a season ticket in the Kingsland. Would always trundle out a few minutes before half time and return with a bottle of coke.
Cestrian Saint Posted 6 December, 2011 Posted 6 December, 2011 Craig David is not a Saints fan. I was sat next to him at a TV filming and Jamie Theakston asked him who he supported. Craig david replied, 'Chelsea!' Theakston said 'I thought you were a Saints fan?'. CD replied, 'I'm from Southampton but I support Chelsea'. He just dons a Saints shirt if there's publicity to be had. 2003 Cup final day is a prime example. Attention seeking tosser!
Secret Site Agent Posted 6 December, 2011 Posted 6 December, 2011 (edited) I wish people would stop starting threads about celebrity fans, as the Railwayinn website gets trawled out, I look at it, then I'm peed off again as Fiona Phillips is on there and the old whore famously deserted us for Chelsea. She's a traitorous old bag. GRRRRRR Edited 6 December, 2011 by Secret Site Agent
Hatch Posted 6 December, 2011 Posted 6 December, 2011 This thread should be marked NWS and immediate bannings for the posting of that image above.

Miltonaggro Posted 6 December, 2011 Posted 6 December, 2011 Bonnie Langford and Jeanette 'Jimmy' Krankie. Both season ticket holders in the Kingsland and both regular posters on here. FFS...
Secret Site Agent Posted 6 December, 2011 Posted 6 December, 2011 (edited) Don't chat sh*t mate, I grew up with the boy and he's saints through n through. Chelsea my arse. Got to agree. If you cut Craig, he bleeds red and white. Talking about it, are you sure you weren't sat next to Fiona Phillips. It sounds more like here. I'd like to cut her and see what she bled. Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 8 December, 2011 Posted 8 December, 2011 Tiff Needel sits in the Kingsland.
Window Cleaner Posted 8 December, 2011 Posted 8 December, 2011 The question is will they all be going on the bubble bus to Skatesville?
Pedro Posted 14 December, 2011 Posted 14 December, 2011 Don't chat sh*t mate, I grew up with the boy and he's saints through n through. Chelsea my arse. Just spent 45 minutes with Craig David, didn't stop talking about Saints and thinks we're going up, he was really excited about it and this weekend. Did say he watched the Chelsea/Man City game but was raving more about Ballotelli.
