S-Clarke Posted 30 November, 2011 Posted 30 November, 2011 No surprise really, he's not done as expected up there. Sunderland fans have been voicing out against him for a while now. Not sure who they'll get to replace him that's higher profile though.
hypochondriac Posted 30 November, 2011 Posted 30 November, 2011 He deserves it. Has been cack up there considering the money he has.
SuperMikey Posted 30 November, 2011 Posted 30 November, 2011 They've got a bit of money to splash about, could tempt in a high profile manager from Europe - i've heard Hiddink is on their shortlist from my Mackem mate.

Definitely, but whether they'll be getting rid of AVB now after spending a lot of money to get him and only giving him a few months in charge is doubtful. The Sunderland board will give their new manager a bit of money to spend in January and they've already got a decent squad, could be tempting to a high-profile manager to build the club up.

I really don't think they have much to splash around anymore. Expect them to be run similar to Villa from now on.
Saint Keith Posted 30 November, 2011 Posted 30 November, 2011 bit harsh i reckon. sunderland are one those clubs who think they have a god given right to be successful. well it was a very long time since they were. bit like Pompey really....
The Cat Posted 30 November, 2011 Posted 30 November, 2011 He won't have any trouble finding another job, there's loads of department stores on the lookout for fat blokes with experience of wearing red and white at this time of year.
sfc1971 Posted 30 November, 2011 Posted 30 November, 2011 In a week or two he will be at Ipswich after paul Jewell going on live tv this morning calling his own a "Pub Team"
SuperSAINT Posted 30 November, 2011 Posted 30 November, 2011 He's brought in a ton of players and they haven't really cut the mustard.... With that said... Last season they had Welbeck/Gyan/Bent up front. This season, they haven't got any of them.
