krissyboy31 Posted 30 November, 2011 Posted 30 November, 2011 Ta, just watched them. You can see what people mean when they talk about Guly's body language. Something's not quite right there. He's Brazilian and it's f'ing freezing!!

Maybe it's confirmation bias (seeing what we are looking for), but he does seem a bit subdued. Luckily he kept his habit of sticking a goal and some excellent play in between the sulking ;-)
Saints67 Posted 1 December, 2011 Posted 1 December, 2011 A very good match report from the opposition http://www.ambernectar.org/blog/2011/11/report-southampton-2-city-1/?
Cricketphilly Posted 1 December, 2011 Posted 1 December, 2011 Can anyone else remember the game at the Dell when Billy Bremner played for Hull? Was it 77? Pretty sure we won.
Window Cleaner Posted 1 December, 2011 Posted 1 December, 2011 A very good match report from the opposition http://www.ambernectar.org/blog/2011/11/report-southampton-2-city-1/? liked that, especially the references to some Saint's fans living in the past and not appreciating just what they've got now and the bit about the sending off tackle winning the VC in 1971. Football has changed, trouble is some of our fans just don't get the "new fangled" stuff. I saw a reference earlier on in this thread to the fact that we stand off and don't go lunging into tackles the instant the opposition get the ball, that's because that's the way the coaches and manager want the game played rather than any personal choice of the player. You're absolutely firkin useless dumped on you ass or sitting in the changing room because you've copped 2 yellows for desperate tackles.
