Jimmy_D Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Middlesborough 1-1 FT, Hull losing after being 2-0 up.
S-Clarke Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Its the third team we have to watch. Whats the gap. Cardiff are closing it, not sure what the points are though.
Leicestersaint Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Disappointing - we have sounded rather clueless tactically to be honest.
dubai_phil Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Don't panic It was all my fault I went out but fired up Saints player so didn't lose time trying to get it running when I got home. Unfortunately Solent wasn't broadcasting at the time so I left it on the Brizzle stream.....
CanadaSaint Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Chappers brings really important things that nobody else can bring, so that makes him one of the biggest losses we could suffer.
Under Weststand Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 3-minites to get at least 1 goal back on track on Tuesday, Come on you Rams
S-Clarke Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Disappointing - we have sounded rather clueless tactically to be honest. One blip in a pretty blipless 12 months.
trousers Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Middlesborough 1-1 FT, Hull losing after being 2-0 up. If Derby can get a draw at West Ham then it's not been a bad a day as it could have been
patred44 Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 2 min hat trick from De Ridder hows that for positivity:D
Window Cleaner Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Don't panic It was all my fault I went out but fired up Saints player so didn't lose time trying to get it running when I got home. Unfortunately Solent wasn't broadcasting at the time so I left it on the Brizzle stream..... Hedonist
Ohio Saint Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Don't panic It was all my fault I went out but fired up Saints player so didn't lose time trying to get it running when I got home. Unfortunately Solent wasn't broadcasting at the time so I left it on the Brizzle stream..... Bastard!
acersaint Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 I can't see us being promoted this season. Mid-table. What a load of bull. You have based that on one game?
Ohio Saint Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 I think we need to disregard the negative posts in this thread, it's impossible to know which are sarcasm and which are true wrist slitters!
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 What a load of bull. You have based that on one game? Ignore the wind up merchants
1976_Child Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 What a load of bull. You have based that on one game? you don't think it was possible that my tongue was in my cheek then?
patred44 Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 I think there was very much a tongue planted in cheek with that post. shhh don't let him in on it
Window Cleaner Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 That's it then, never mind we'll win on Tuesday. Shut up Dave.
monosaint Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 A bad day at the office. Sounds like everyone off their game today..
altoniansaints Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 i blame the GP quallifying tbc not had final score on
Under Weststand Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Oh well bad day at the office draw a line under it back on the bus against Hull
S-Clarke Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Worst game of the season, easily. Not bad that it's taken us until November to achieve it! To be fair though, our away form is still way too patchy and we're kind of relying on winning at home every time to stay the pace.
Ohio Saint Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Brizzle did very well by the sounds of things. Fair play to them
Roger Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Away form is a worry, doesnt give us much margin for error at home.
martyg1950 Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Just for perspective This will be only the third defeat of the season Terrible;) and we're still 5 points clear of 3rd place with a game in hand. Bad day at the office yes, end of the season NO!
toofarnorth Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 One blip in a pretty blipless 12 months. Exactly. Saving ourselves for the demolition of a demoralised Hull on Tuesday!
mulletsaint Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Incredibly disappointing result but hardly worth slitting the wrists over. Agree with most others on here that Adkins made a mistake putting Morgan on when Chaplow got injured early on. Hopefully just a blip.
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Shame but we cannot win every game Bristol did very well today Back to work on Tuesday V Hull Still a great start to season ,way way beyond what any honest Saint supporter expected
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Away form is a worry, doesnt give us much margin for error at home. We have had no error at home...
Dibden Purlieu Saint Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Oh well, said we'd lose this one. Onwards and upwards.
Roger Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 We have had no error at home... From now on obviously.
alpine_saint Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 At least Boro f**ked up. Fingers crossed for Derby...
ALWAYS_SFC Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Can we re name this thread the post match wailing and whinning thread as no doubt it will become one
Dalek2003 Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 The fact we have a quick game on Tuesday is good imo. I still maintain we will have to buy some key quality players in the transfer market or we will slip to mid table, and I am serious about this.
S-Clarke Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 The fact we have a quick game on Tuesday is good imo. I still maintain we will have to buy some key quality players in the transfer market or we will slip to mid table, and I am serious about this. You keep saying this, which is fair enough. But who would you buy, and which positions would you replace?
Saint Garrett Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Cardiff only team in the top half to win.
1976_Child Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Can we re name this thread the post match wailing and whinning thread as no doubt it will become one look, we were obviously **** poor today. Just because some of us point this out does not make us whiners etc. Something was not right today, we got turned over. If we are to be top at the end of the season we need to get more from our away games. At some point our home form will slip. You don't win divisions with a mediocre away form. Must do better. And that is not whining, it is the mentality of winners.
Saint_Jonny Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 We will smash Hull and all will be forgotten. COYR.
Window Cleaner Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 Incredibly disappointing result but hardly worth slitting the wrists over. Agree with most others on here that Adkins made a mistake putting Morgan on when Chaplow got injured early on. Hopefully just a blip. Doubt that, we were already struggling with McKinney anyway. De Ridder wouldn't have helped us on that.Sounded like Morgan had a pretty good game but our creative attacking options(ie Guly and lallana) weren't firing on all cylinders,or any cylinders at all come to that.
Saint_Randell Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 What was this site like back in the doom and gloom days where we had about 2 decent performances all year?! To be fair I think most are being sarcastic though
Pugwash Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 They did their homework on us, knew how to snuff us out. Fox and Richardson both well pegged back and sounds like Hammond and Cork were off the pace. One shot on goal in second half? Still onward and upward - bound to have the occasional blip. Hull on Tuesday and they lost to a couple of late goals today.
beatlesaint Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 We have just lost out first game in 9 after 4 straight wins.....this is real life football not bloody Football Manager 2012 ffs. The real bad news is Chaplow's injury.
fromdayone Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 At least Bristols win mean the skates are only 1 point from relegation zone!
S-Clarke Posted 26 November, 2011 Posted 26 November, 2011 The real bad news is Chaplow's injury. Absolutely, got a horrible feeling it's very much long-term. It sounded like one of those innocuous twists, with no one around you - they often equal the worst injuries.
