Redondo Saint Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 I forgot we lost to Brentford at SMS last season!
once_bitterne Posted 24 November, 2011 Author Posted 24 November, 2011 Maybe it's a racial stereotype but when I have heard the name Harlee Dean I always envisaged a big black bloke.
shurlock Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Maybe it's a racial stereotype but when I have heard the name Harlee Dean I always envisaged a big black bloke. I envisage a lovely, lovely geezer from bandit country.
1976_Child Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 I thought he was a striker. Says he is a defender.
COMEONYOUREDS Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 I thought he was a striker. Says he is a defender. Thought he was a CM myself!
The9 Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 whats written under his badge on his shirt...'development ............'? "u-21"
The9 Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 I thought he was a striker. Says he is a defender. Which one (not that they're not both defenders)...? Ah, link is to Brentford, you meant Dean. Saville is also out on loan to Barnet as mentioned in the OS article.
Big_Bald_Si Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 What does a "youth loan" mean exactly? We're loaning out a youthful player? lol
The9 Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Brentford clearly have some problems with their youth side if they have to play players with serious injuries.
Window Cleaner Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Thought he was a CM myself! Nope we've converted him into a CB of late, options see, never too late to re-assess a player.
The9 Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 What does a "youth loan" mean exactly? We're loaning out a youthful player? lol Presumably it's to allow players under a certain age, who are not members of the first team squad from being subject to the restrictions of the transfer window. Does raise the question about experienced but young first teamers (eg Oxlade-Chamberlain last season) potentially moving outside transfer windows under this premise, but whatever...
Fergie Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Brentford clearly have some problems with their youth side if they have to play players with serious injuries. hahaha, this is classic, what a photo!! Perhaps as some of their players have backward feet then Dean will get a game!!
ribbo Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 He was pushing for a loan according to tweets between him and Graham Murty, fair play too, him and Saville should get some gametime between em, Cant help but feel they're stopgaps in the development squad, despite Harlee coming on well and playing well in the development squad.

Wasn't Dean already getting some first team action at Dagenham before he came to Saints?Seems he may have gone backwards a bit.
Big_Bald_Si Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Wasn't Dean already getting some first team action at Dagenham before he came to Saints?Seems he may have gone backwards a bit. Yeah, some, one game apparently.
Doctoroncall Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Brentford clearly have some problems with their youth side if they have to play players with serious injuries. It looks like Harlee is just about to perform a procedure to correct it.
