alehouseboys Posted 1 December, 2011 Share Posted 1 December, 2011 Will tickets only show up on the online account of the person who paid for the tickets? Or everybody's? Ours have so far only shown up on the on the sales history of the one who put the applications in but we're apparently all listed. Have checked but nothing showing on mine. And once again just to keep that warm feeling of having a ticket going...

On general sale for a month and the skates still haven't sold out. Struggling to sell 17,000 to home fans for their biggest game..lucky they didn't build that big potty then. JRM Posted 2 December, 2011 Share Posted 2 December, 2011 spare a thought for Millwall fans going to Leeds this weekend, to get a ticket they have to go to a service station and exchange it for a match ticket, they have to get to the service station between 9.45-11.15am outside of Leeds, and their travel club is leaving Millwall at 5.30am!! on top of that match tickets are £34!!! i would be amazed if Millwall take more than 150 http://www.millwallfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10367~2534207,00.html

Tokyo-Saint Posted 2 December, 2011 Share Posted 2 December, 2011 Got 4 tickets showing on line now. 2 from Ballot 1 and 2 from Ballot 2, done 4 aways. How many have your 'plus 1s' from ballot 2 been to? I have 7 away games so far, including Doncaster and nothing on my account to show skates away yet. It is quite possible your additional tickets will get in ahead of me. If they have been to less away games (not saying they have but some people plus ones are bound to have) then yet again the system screws me over. Fecking ticket office! Graffito Posted 2 December, 2011 Share Posted 2 December, 2011 so how can they know that all the tickets are sold out? something doesn't add up for me with all this, there reluctance from the start to say how many our allocation was, and in the news article yesterday they didn't actually use the words sold out. I phoned the ticket office yesterday lunchtime, i.e. before yesterday afternoon's news article, pointing out that the local press had reported that there were hundreds of tickets available and asking if they would be selling them to people who had attended fewer than 4 away matches. The Ticket Office said that all the tickets had been sold and that the reports in the press were "all lies". Tbh I can't see why they wouldn't want to take and sell the full allocation. The Cat Posted 2 December, 2011 Share Posted 2 December, 2011 so how can they know that all the tickets are sold out? something doesn't add up for me with all this, there reluctance from the start to say how many our allocation was, and in the news article yesterday they didn't actually use the words sold out. Maybe they went through all the forms and added up the number of tickets that were applied for before actually processing them on the system. That would make sense when you consider that people are only just having the tickets allocated to their accounts.

Got my 2nd app in quite early so maybe it was first come first serverd? Sorry mate, no offence to you, you have just applied as the system has allowed and fair play to you, however this really gets on my tits. I do not live in Southampton, cannot go to every midweek game, so do not have a season ticket. However, I do go to a larger number of home games and even more away games. I travel miles across the country, spending a fortune on petrol and train tickets but because I don't have a season ticket I get screwed in the big games. I can accept that season ticket holders get first dibs on tickets for big games (this one, JPT final etc) but the fact that I get pushed behind people because they have a mate who is a season ticket holder is unacceptable in my eyes. I did say on the original thread that they would open it up to season ticket holders plus ones but no one believed me. What is the clubs rational behind this? I would love someone to put this to NC at one of his meet and greet dinners. I would do it myself but obviously, not being a season ticket holder I won't get an invite. Once he has had dinner with all of the season ticket holders, he will make his way through their mates and families before I get an invite. Southampton Football Club have liaised with Hampshire Constabulary and with Portsmouth Football Club to ensure that we do all we can to assist with the safety of all supporters at both Derby fixtures home and away.
