hypochondriac Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 Has anyone had a confirmation email yet? I'm still waiting...
Toomer Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 I was just thinking the same myself, five working days till the 1st December.
stevegrant Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 The original article on the OS says that if you've not heard by the 1st of December then you've been unsuccessful, so could be any time in the next week or so.
Appy Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 Same here, i forgot what the date was, doesn't help the OS have removed the article.
thornhill_saints Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 Same here, i forgot what the date was, doesn't help the OS have removed the article. No they havent http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2485151,00.html
dune Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 They are counting as we speak. I've just rang up and had a grumble about the lack of information and about them not posting out bus tickets - a police decision. The person I spoke to claimed they didn't know how many ballots had been received.
Griffo Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 Sh*tting myself about getting tickets even though I know the average will be more than enough.
Appy Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 Sh*tting myself about getting tickets even though I know the average will be more than enough. Same here, my group have an average of over 5 but due to the incompetence of the Ticket Office staff i'm worried.
Gemmel Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 Ha ha the first person that comes on here and posts that they have had confirmation that they have got tickets, is going to bring this place to meltdown as others panick and worry as they havent heard anything. For the record, i think all those that have applied will get them
Huffton Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 Will they still be in business? Do we get a bloody refund if they go pop!!
saints_is_the_south Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 Same here, my group have an average of over 5 but due to the incompetence of the Ticket Office staff i'm worried. +1. We've done an average of 7 between u in our group, but the of competence of ticket office staff really concerns me.

We've done an average of 7 between u in our group, but the of competence of ticket office staff really concerns me. I think our average will be over both of them! Still worried..
dune Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 I think our average will be over both of them! Still worried.. You'll need to hope there's space on the special bus.
Jack Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 What's the bets they completely f*ck up the sending of emails and allocating travel pick ups, ticket distribution etc
The9 Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 What's the bets they completely f*ck up the sending of emails and allocating travel pick ups, ticket distribution etc That'll make them a few quid in car parking...
Deano6 Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 I too have just emailed the club asking for confirmation that there will be an opposing team that day.
aintforever Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 I've applied but Im not that bothered wether I get them or not. I'm starting to think that maybe a day in the boozer and £42 worth of beer might be more fun that a day being pushed about by Hampshire Plod.
alehouseboys Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 I've applied but Im not that bothered wether I get them or not. I'm starting to think that maybe a day in the boozer and £42 worth of beer might be more fun that a day being pushed about by Hampshire Plod. Now, look long and hard at this picture... ...and put all thoughts of not wanting to be there out of your head. It could be a memorable day, one you'll look back on in 30 years and think "I was there".
Papa Shango Posted 23 November, 2011 Posted 23 November, 2011 (edited) Been to every away game and haven't got an email yet. Heard they will start processing them at the start of next week. My only worry is they will lose my ballot. Haven't missed a game for six years, so I'd be unbelievably gutted if I missed out on this match. Edited 23 November, 2011 by Papa Shango

Chez Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Bingo!! Email sent last night saying I'd got the 4 I applied for :-) We're coming for you.........,no melt down yet. Must try harder.
saintrich Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 My bank balance is looking quite poor... Hope that means I've got my tickets...
hypochondriac Posted 24 November, 2011 Author Posted 24 November, 2011 Have people really had money taken? Or are they just making it up like Turkish?
Colinjb Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 No money taken out of my account. I'm taking that as a bad sign.
hypochondriac Posted 24 November, 2011 Author Posted 24 November, 2011 No money taken out of my account. I'm taking that as a bad sign. Well my three mates and I have not had anything yet and we have four aways each.
Toomer Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Nothing will happen till Monday of next week.
Turkish Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Have people really had money taken? Or are they just making it up like Turkish? I've had money taken out.
boxosponge Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Every season ticket holder who applied has got a ticket. Now open for non season ticket holders plus if you already have one already you can apply for another. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2526148,00.html
Um Bongo Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Every season ticket holder who applied has got a ticket. Now open for non season ticket holders plus if you already have one already you can apply for another. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2526148,00.html Only if you've attended 4 away games, if you don't own a season ticket. Been to three :@
This Charming Man Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Everyone who has applied has one and they've even extended the ballot. I can't even start to describe how embarrassing it would be if we didn't sell this out.
Sour Mash Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Everyone who has applied has one and they've even extended the ballot. I can't even start to describe how embarrassing it would be if we didn't sell this out. Where you hear that from mate? Reliable source?
Um Bongo Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Where you hear that from mate? Reliable source? It's on the OS.
boxosponge Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Been to three :@ Does your 3 include Donny? If not you could buy one just to make your number up to 4
DJ_TOAST Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 That's brilliant news for all, especially the non ST Holders who've done lots of aways but couldn't originally apply. Those who were saying 8000 applicants haha...expect the ticket office having a laugh then watching the reaction on here/other forums.
warsash saint Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Can't believe we haven't sold out to STH's! Why? £42 to be herded like cattle on a compulsory bus with no toliets, no doubt arrive late, sat in a sh*t ground with no facilities & then to be kept in for another hour after the game! I will try to get a ticket now, but can see why quite a few have said sod it.
Turkish Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Everyone who has applied has one and they've even extended the ballot. I can't even start to describe how embarrassing it would be if we didn't sell this out. It would be shameful but would show how many cowards we have in our fan base. Considering the 1,000's that sing "we're coming for you" every week.
Turkish Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Have people really had money taken? Or are they just making it up like Turkish? making it up was i???

terrypward Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Great news! I hope they got my form. Sent it first class as I couldn't be arsed with Recorded.... Wishing I had gone with recorded delivery now, but I'm sure it'll be fine! Seeing as we have until Tuesday for the further ballot, guess at least there is a second chance if it goes wrong!
stevegrant Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Well that's embarrassing. Not really. Surprisingly, people don't like being told how to travel to a football match.
Appy Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Good news for everyone who applied. Don't see it as embarrassing at all, i'm sure the remaining tickets will sell.
Saints foreva Posted 24 November, 2011 Posted 24 November, 2011 Don't see why it's embarrassing, Skates struggled to sale out 17,000 (have they even sold out yet?) and I doubt they will sale the 3,200 down here to just season ticket holders.
