Scummer Posted 25 November, 2011 Share Posted 25 November, 2011 John Lewis are doing a "price match" offer on the iPad 2 today....not sure whose price they are matching but they've knocked £40 off.... http://www.johnlewis.com/Electricals/iPad+2+and+Tablet+PCs/Apple+iPad+2/View+all+Apple+iPad+2/20909/ProductCategory.aspx They are matching Apple's own Black Friday price cut today. fish fingers Posted 28 November, 2011 Share Posted 28 November, 2011 How many more times? Jesus was born in July. Christ Almighty. Unlikely, given that he didn't exist.
trousers Posted 28 November, 2011 Share Posted 28 November, 2011 They are matching Apple's own Black Friday price cut today. Ah, cool. I must say, John Lewis's service was exemplary. Ordered online on Friday afternoon and picked up from my local Waitrose store on Saturday lunchtime. The Waitrose staff were a little unprepared as this is the first week that John Lewis have started using Waitrose stores for their 'click and collect' service but they couldn't have been more pleasant. Customer service in the UK is alive and well (on rare occasions) :-) I'd defo recommend John Lewis for online Christmas shopping.

SNSUN Posted 28 November, 2011 Share Posted 28 November, 2011 Unlikely, given that he didn't exist. I think he did, but he was just a normal beardy man that learned how to make his thumb disappear and learned a couple of card tricks. David Blaine, born 2000 years ago, would be as worshipped now as Jesus is. (Not that I condone anyone for beliefs.) Incidentally re: Christmas, I bought only my second ever thing on eBay yesterday, and now have the bug, so everyone in my family better be expecting bits of crap from that site that I buy on the cheap. I guess he was the pioneer of the old walking on water trick that Dynamo has been using.
