Looking for an app which can show the best routes through cities, the distance and the time it should take etc. I know there are a few out there, can anyone reccomend one.

Looking for an app which can show the best routes through cities, the distance and the time it should take etc. I know there are a few out there, can anyone reccomend one.

 

Easy: Nokia Maps. Nokia own Navteq: biggest maping company in the world.

 

Maps of 92 countries - free to download.

Public transport routes overlaid onto 94 cities (including the underground in London - showing the stations/lines in their correct colours)

Walk mode will take you through shortcuts - e.g. through shopping centres. underpasses etc.

Shows distance and estimated time to get there.

Maps are stored on the device - so no data charge for using it.

 

And the latest version gives you local points of interest, reviews of local sites (or pubs!) etc.

 

Did I mention its FREE.
