Brighton should have been down to nine men!

After the second given penalty (third goal) Barnes barges into the ref quite hard in indignation, now if I had been ref he would have walked immediately, especially as he sent a player off earlier for swearing at him!

I know Marcus took a dim view of this sort of thing, wonder if Cortese/Adkins hold the same view as we seem to hold back from the ref even when blatantly slighted.

We're too busy diving for pens to worry about this sort of thing ;-)

You're probably right that that could have been deemed a red (don't even think he got a caution for it, Calderon did though).

However, although we're not operating at the level of Gus' Brighton, we're certainly not immune to a bit of gamesmanship (Deano's dive) and trying to influence the ref (e.g. Vs Posh).

I mentioned this in another a thread. He was seen on FL high lights kicking out at two players. It appears only I've seen it!?!?

Little cvnt makes up 50 yards to do so.

Nah, I saw it too, kicks Chaplow in Saints' own half then the ball goes down our right and he tries to boot someone near the edge of the box too.
