Gus probably instructed it. He knew his tin pot outfit couldn't play fair against us and win.

um pahars Posted 20 November, 2011 Share Posted 20 November, 2011 (edited) I noticed that during the game, Chaplow has a word. You're right, nasty, niggly little f*ckers. Also noticed it at the time and it looked like Chaplow said something, so was interesting to see it on the highlights. It was well after the ball and could only be intended to spark a reaction. They seemed to invest so much time and effort having a whinge at the referee (the barge after the third penalty summed that strategy up) and trying to wind up the opposition (Taricco was still having a pop at Chaplow as he trudged off), that had we not kept our cool we could have easily been dragged down to their level. anothersaintinsouthsea Posted 20 November, 2011 Share Posted 20 November, 2011 Tarrico has always been a ****bag, remember him as a dirty and not particularly talented player when he was at Spurs. Could anyone work out what he was gesturing just after his red card? Was mouthing off to someone (chappers?) whilst rubbing the top of his leg . CanadaSaint Posted 20 November, 2011 Share Posted 20 November, 2011 Well, they say a team comes to assume the personality of its manager - never mind two of them. It sure looks that way with BHA - and I still haven't forgotten Dunk's horror tackle on Billy Sharp at the start of the season.

If that's the clip where we go down the right wing, the same player kicks out at another Saints player when running towards the box seconds later as well. Think it may have been Navarro, if it was the one in the bright orange boots.
Bearsy Posted 20 November, 2011 Share Posted 20 November, 2011 Brighton had one worthwhile attack all game, after we'd scored the first when KD had a flap at that cross. Kudos to the Beeb for leaving it off the highlights, presumably the editor was black.
