Turkish Posted 20 November, 2011 Share Posted 20 November, 2011 (edited) This must be a fake twitter account. How can he not like it? It's hilarious, has me ROFLing everytime I hear it. Its probably a bitter skate or Brighton fan posing as him with an anti saints agenda trying to ruin our fun. saint lard Posted 20 November, 2011 Share Posted 20 November, 2011 He really has failed to make an impact, has he not? Not an overly inspiring aquisition thus far...along the lines of Forte and who was that striker Adkins signed on loan, yet failed to do anything? Still awaiting to see if Adkins can lure a talent away from another club unfortunately. It's the only part of the jigsaw missing, otherwise Adkins would be an all round managerial genius. Correct, he has not failed to make an impact. In fact i would describe him as an impact player who looks dangerous coming off the bench.

Dont agree at all. And to put him in the same bracket as Forte is a bloody insult.
Golden Balls Posted 20 November, 2011 Share Posted 20 November, 2011 Like his twitter says, it's not good every time he touches the ball. Fine when he's coming on or scores.

Never put him in the same category as Forte, worlds apart in terms of footballing ability. De Ridder plays a different style to the rest of our side, much more direct and is a pretty decent "Plan B" to have coming off the bench. My onlycriticism of him at the moment is he can hold onto the ball for a bit too long.

Stop trying to look for reasons to justify your opinion of Adkins! Which has now well and truly been blown out of the water. He's a good player, whenever he's been on the pitch he's looked dangerous and threatening. He's a terrific sub to have.

Just imagine what would happen if Adkins hadn't lost the dressing room. The players clearly aren't playing for him.

Mowgli Posted 20 November, 2011 Share Posted 20 November, 2011 Source: Horses mouth on his twitter account. Surely now is time to stop the cringeworthy chant? Try reading the twitter quote again. NOWHERE does he say it is a bit off putting. It really annoys me when people can't even read to get a story right. The actual quote is "Morning! To be fair, I do like my chant, BUT it is a bit much everytime I touch the ball though..." And he's right! Trouble is he is a quality player you do feel he is going to do something special every time he touches the ball
st alex Posted 20 November, 2011 Share Posted 20 November, 2011 He likes it but only when he does something good like score a goal or when he is coming on. Exactly just like any other palyer chant. Of course it's going to be off putting if your name gets shouted at you every time you touch the ball, especially when you are still trying to force your way into the team. Fulham had more or less the same chant for Steed Malbranque but just sung it when he scored or came on.
