I thought Rickie's wide effort was going in.

 

In the Northam, so didn't have the best perspective on it, but it seemed like the whole stand thought it was in. On the other hand, I was dreading him having to retake the second penalty. Was a bit odd that. the 'keeper clearly wasn't ready, but the ref blew the whistle anyway. Great retake though.

Yep, also fueled by the fact it so unlike him to miss from there as well. As for the second pen, thought it was going over for a sec!

I haven't actually seen the penalty, but surely if the whistle has gone and the keeper isn't ready, that's the keepers own stupid fault?

That was my initial thought too, but as Nextar said it's hardly fair on the 'keeper who had barely turned around when Rickie took it.
