Perhaps he thinks that the fans are having a pop at him rather than praising the fact he was alleged to have put one over the skates. I prefer the Bradley Wright wright wright song

I decided not to join in because he was aquitted of all charges and so technically he did not rob from the skates. I got to say it's not the best song even he did steal from them - like dyer did, and was found guilty of.

If I get your gist if only it enhanced his performances I wouldn't really care much! I'd much prefer it wasn't done blatantly though, in a club in Southsea (of all places), and then allegedly had to have the video evidence "removed" by alleged theft.
